Terrible experience ordering online! Christmas gifts I ordered in December won't be getting to me until February! I ordered 2 Christmas gifts online this year at the beginning of December. I got an email 2 days before Christmas telling me that my address was "undeliverable" which I have never had happen before so I had to call and try to change the address. I spoke to 4 different people to try to get this done over the course the next weeks. One lady told me she couldn't change the address at that moment and that I had to wait until the package made it's way back to them and that then I would be getting an email asking if it should be reshipped or refunded. After I never received the email, I called again. They didn't know why but it was back and I just never got an email. So the lady I spoke to changed the address but didn't have an ETA. 2 weeks later after still not receiving the package I called AGAIN. This time they told me that my gifts had been returned at the beginning of January and they don't know how 2 people I spoke to failed to notice this. I said I would still like them both shipped out but now one item is sold out and discontinued so I'm out of luck. So now ONE of the gifts I ordered in DEC will be getting here in FEB and the other I will never be able to get and the best they can do for me is free shipping with a "rush" of 5 days. The lady I talked to at customer service also had the nerve to try to give me a sales pitch about the great offer on a $5 multi tool which is now $4 and then tried to sell me a credit card. So disappointed in Cabela's. NEVER ORDER ANYTHING ONLINE.

The customer service I experienced overall at Cabela's in Richfield, WI was absolutely horrendous. My husband and I went there to purchase a gun. We got to the gun department to find a huge line of people and one person working behind the counter. I went to up to a cashier and explained there are several people waiting and only one person working and asked if anyone else was available to help, she laughed in my face and said "Welcome to Cabela's." I could not believe she actually said that to me so I asked to speak to her manager. She pointed at the guy sitting at desk near the front trying to push your stupid credit card that no one wants. I went up to him and explained again, he responded there was nothing he could do about it. He stated he was required to sit up front. When we finally were assisted at the gun counter, the employee could not have been more arrogant and rude. He was not helpful whatsoever. While "helping" us he was very distracted with what another employee was doing and started yelling at him and another customer. Another customer stated he called an hour ago and was told someone could do a mount for his gun. The guy helping us yelled at the customer that no one can help him right now or anytime soon. The customer asked should I grab a number or make an appointment and the employee completely ignored him, walked away without finishing helping us and took the next customer. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? I have spent hundreds of dollars at Cabela's in the last year and I am considering never buying a thing from you again. I was absolutely disgusted with the attitudes of your employees and how not helpful they were. We had plans to purchase a $600.00 rifle plus a scope and case but based on tonight's experience I will looking else where. Also to mention, we watched 6 people get fed up with the wait the gun counter and leave without being serviced. One customer next to us said he waited for over 30 minutes and also had plans to purchase a gun but said, "forget it I'll go somewhere else".

Used a gift card for my purchase. Cashier scanned my card, then put it in her drawer. Apparently intending to keep the balance that was left. Waits are too long to try and find someone to talk to so left. Retail survey website and phone number don't work either.

This store is pretty much junk and is a perfect example of why Bass Pro won the battle between the big box outdoors stores. I've been to this location twice, it's the closest one to me and still about a 45 minute drive. Both times I've left this place empty-handed because their selection is so poor. If you're looking for a specific item, call before to see if it's stock and don't waste your time. I guess it's an alright place if you're coming just to browse, but even then they're overpriced like any big box store. Overall, not worth the trip.

Cabela's is a large store that sells hunting, fishing, camping, recreational shooting and outdoor gear. There's an entire room upstairs for clearance items. The also have a showroom for boats downstairs. The large aquarium is fun to walk through and there's also a staged mountain side with stuffed animals to look at. They have good prices on sale items throughout the store.
