Patrick is a manager there, and probably the best one I've ever seen. He shows exceptional customer service, and really goes beyond his job description. He's on top of everything while being very helpful to everyone, and has a good sense of humor. Anyone who is having difficulties, whether it is finding out information or addressing a negative experience, look for him. He'll sort it out, every time. Great, hard-working guy. His effort and performance alone gives this whole store a 5-star review from me.

Smaller than your typical Walgreens but in a convenient location with friendly staff.

High prices and limited stock. It's alright if you don't have any other options readily available. It does have good sales though and you can get great prices if you watch the ads.

I am a Madison student who came to Miwaukee for the weekend (job training), and am staying at Mashuda Guest Wing.  Anyways,  I needed to purchase some stuff at Walgreens today and I brought it up to the counter, but then realized that I cannot really pay by debit card, since I do not have money left on it.  The only way I could pay was by check, but I had to run few blocks down to my room to get it.  So I did, with my purchases already sitting at the counter.  When I came back, at 8:02, I was asked to leave, because "The store is now closed",even though my items were already at the counter, and there were people standing in line to the cash register, waiting to pay for their purchases.  There was only ONE cash register open, even though there was a line, and the two Walgreens employees that were  asking me to leave were just standing near the front door.  I asked why other customers were allowed to pay for their purchases, and I was not allowed to pay for mine, and receiveda  brilliantly dumb answer: "Because they already were here".  So, I was NOT warned that the store is about to close when I came to the register at the first time.  I was NOT allowed to buy some things, even though I did not need to gather them, they were already waiting for me, and  even though not only the cash register was open, but there were people waiting in LINE for it.  I understand that these two employees were probably eager to go home and close the store, but such customer treatment is UNACCEPTABLE.  I will make sure they're fired.
