One of my first places to eat here in Santa Monica and it was amazing! The vibe was chill yet up beat. The staff was relaxed and fun loving! The drinks could be a little stronger but 2 for 1 at happy hour wasn’t too bad of a deal! I had fish tacos and they were the biggest ones I have seen in a long time! 2 actually did me well! They also looked amazing coming out which is important for me! I will be back to this spot!!!
Your typical Bar fare served on paper plates but less. More like food from an old style movie with leftover cheese. Service was slow and unfriendly. Drink selection looked good but served in plastic cups. Several patrons were loud after a few to many on a Sunday afternoon. For the price you can do much better in almost any direction around downtown or walk over to the boardwalk for the view. Can't think of any reason to go back except maybe pet friendly outdoor seating.
Been coming here for years and years and always have a blast. Great good, drinks, service and music, with plenty of TV's to watch sports. Some of the staff have been there as long as I've been coming in and always say hi and remember me, and I like that. Solid Mexican food, too, I love their tacos, salads and especially their giant plate of nachos! 2 for 1 Happy Hours, whaaa? So fun. I've never had a bad time here, and I've been here a million times! Go and enjoy yourself before or after a movie or shopping on the 3rd Street Promenade. Guaranteed you will have fun and like the vibe.
i was really surprised how much i enjoyed their tacos here. between the ground beef and carne asada, I like the asada the most. they are big size taco, it comes with a side of beans and rice and spicy salsa, and can order 2 at first and then one at a time after. I understand why they have this policy but when it's hard to flag down a server i'm having to wait a long time between my tacos. I did not love this especially when Im feeling hungry still after the first two tacos. Grateful that my server allowed me to get a second order of two tacos. And honestly, thats all I needed. 4 tacos to get full. What a deal for $10 all you can eat taco Tuesday! I'm definitely eating here again just with a better plan for ordering a succession of tacos. I also had their happy hour strawberry margarita, that always hit the right spot. Their drinks are always nice and strong and made right.
At the front an employee checks ID and reminds patrons letting underage patrons drink will result in getting kicked out. The pink lemonade is good. Enjoyed LA Paz margaritas and shared with a friend. Loaded fries were great and extra silverware and plates were brought to our table without having to request it first. Same with water cups. But, the server did get busy twice and we resorted to telling the clean up guy our requirements. It started to rain and we were moved under the awning from the front rope as soon as a table could be cleared. Fun time, good food, acceptable prices. Vegetarian options: The guacamole is presumably vegetarian. The salsa as well so the chips and dips starter is a good idea. Also, the loaded fries were great vegetarian. Just ask your server.
Visited the place for Halloween and it was fun. For food we ordered the loaded nachos and they were very good. Drinks were the dissapointing part of it. Sugary juice w cheap alcohol you can find at any bar.Food: 5/5
Bad service! It took forever for the waitress to come to our table on a slow Tuesday night. They charge $1 extra on the Margarita for “flavor”. Their food was sub par and the waitress was rude. She clearly didn’t want to be there. When we asked what the dollar charge was all about, her answer was “I just work here”… almost like it’s a common complaint and she didn’t want to hear it.
This place is a rip off, but has pretty decent atmosphere. $22+ for a drink lmao, and the waitresses have an attitude. The food is not good but if you're desperate for something it will sufficeFood: 1/5
Ordered a burrito and let me just say that it was the worse burrito I ever had. First to there was little asada which was unseasoned and dry. Second the portion was very small for what I paid. Finally I asked the waitress for untensils she just walked away. Not impressed
Food is really good with generous servings. Affordable prices and good musics for the vibes. It also displays sports on tv if you’re interesting in it. I recommend
