Took my super nervous cat in for his first checkup with Care First. The lobby nice and open with tons of room. The desk tech was super friendly and got us taken care of quickly and easily. The real magic started when I took my Bailey boy back to the checkup room.
 
The Veterinary Technician was easily one of the most kind and patient folks I've ever met. She had Bailey out of his cage, and excited for petting within minutes. The checkup was quick, professional, and thorough. Bailey received tons and tons of compliments and love throughout. 

I've been back a couple times since, and I can honestly say the care that our original Veterinary Technician gave was not an isolated incident. Every single person I've met at this place has been outstandingly caring, and you can really tell that everyone that's here is doing what they love.  I can honestly say that we've found our forever-vet. I can't recommend this place enough.

We love Care First at Oberlin! They have been great with both preventative care and urgent issues for our older cat and two rescue Boston Terriers. The staff is awesome and takes the time to explain the details of diagnosis and treatment so we feel confident in our care plan. We've also used their day camp service for one of our dogs, and we love that a) dogs are split by size, which seems safer for smaller dogs; b) they know all her medical history in case anything happens; c) they send her home with a "report card" so we know how her day went! Highly recommended :)

We love the staff at Oberlin Care First Animal Hospital, they really care about our 4-legged children and us. They become family because they are so involved with giving the best of care one on one. We can't love & appreciate Dr. Joe Gordon, Dr. Page Wages & Dr. Lisa Mendise help & their life commitment to animals. We are so thankful for being directed to their door and a  little humor on the side we wish we could have them as our personal doctors. If you are looking for trusting Veterinarians that care, look no further and let this be your last stop for the BEST OF CARE! Congratulation's To You And Your Furry Family Children!

My dogs have never had better care than they have had at Care First. All the vets/techs are extremely knowledgable and helpful. It’s so nice they provide so many services and always have my pets interest in mind. I would recommend this practice to anybody!

Care is excellent! Dr Wages is exceptionally brilliant. This place is not close to where I live but other than an emergency, this is where I take my dog Crush. The only draw back is that it's quite expensive otherwise I'd give it five stars.
