A great place to camp with the kids! Lots of amenities and a clean, quiet camp ground. The staff we interacted with was very friendly. The bathrooms were clean and well kept. If we find ourselves headed to that area again we will be back.

Obviously the owners think they have to provide all those amenities no one uses...and then overcharge for it. Here's a tip.... 35$ (with veterans discount) is about 15$ too much for a tent site. Yea. A 20x20 patch of dirt with a shower is 35$ and that is not even under a tree or any sense of privacy. They should gain a sense of dignity and lower that price. But, that would be asking too much....am I right?

We just did a large cross country trip (winter) and our short stay at Carlsbad KOA was one of my favorites. We pulled in after 10 hours of driving to be greeted by friendly staff and a quick checkin. Our cabin was clean and well built (con: TV is tiny and oddly positioned). We ordered BBQ which they smoke on site. It was delicious. I recommend the turkey. It is delivered directly to your cabin/site (nice touch). The views are awesome as well. Be sure to look west at sunset.

Nice, clean big park. Out in the country and very quiet with 2 dog parks. It is almost an hour from the cave entrance. The food was a little high for what you get but it was good. Not fresh but we were here during off season and in the middle of the week so not surprising. The kitchen does stop taking orders at 6:15 during the off season though. Not sure why it's considered a KOA holiday not what I was expecting. Was just like any other regular KOA we've stayed at. Would stay again.

This is possibly the nicest KOA that we've been to! I like the set up/layout. Almost all big pull through sites, a central path to main building, 24 hr. Access to showers and laundry, secondary/satellite bath house, pool (in season), games and things to do, restaurant with in house smoked meats!, And more!
