So I have been living at Century Summerfield @Morgan Metro since the beginning of September and I haven't experienced problems anywhere near these reviews. The staff has been just as friendly since the day that I came to look at the property until now. I will say that some times you do have to stay on top of them for certain things but I know in my own profession, some times you get busy and others may not see everything that you have going on, so I try to be patient. And so far, they have been doing a great job with meeting my needs. I absolutely LOVE my apartment and my neighbors are also very friendly. I do not believe that everyone in this community has a bad experience and I hope the ones that do, the management team truly finds ways to fix things. If you are looking for a nice home, I think Century Summerfield is a great place to live!

I have been living at Century Summerfield for two months. Prior to signing my lease and moving in, the staff was friendly and professional. I was able to get a good price on the rent and the apartment looked great. After signing my lease and moving in, that is when the dream turned into a nightmare. I requested a storage unit for about a month, spoke to and followed up will two people countless, before writing it off as a lost cause. I requested a maintenance request to get my toilet fixed in my guest bedroom because the handle was broke. That was replaced right away. I placed another maintenance request to have my toilet fixed in my master bedroom, because the tank took forever to fill, which cause a delay before I could flush the toilet again. That's has still not been completed and it has been over two weeks now (9/22/2017). My A/C went out over the weekend (10/7/2017) and I requested maintenance the same day to have it fixed. It still has not been completed. For the three request that I have made and has not been completed, I have been promise time and time again that it will get worked on this day and the next day and the next day and the next day and it never gets complete, which is disappointing and makes you want to give up on the staff and management. As far as the A/C being out I have had my windows opened which doesn't work well when it's raining outside (I guess rain is never expected in the area). Plus, when I followed up on the status of getting my A/C fixed, I was asked by one of the staff, "What is the temperature?" "Because the person who services the A/C only considers it an emergency when it's 84 degrees or higher outside." It was probably 83 degrees outside, but it was still hot. I was also told that my A/C would be fixed today and if not call them. My A/C was not fixed, but I knew that I would be. A place of business should not toletrate misleading tenants/customers and being inconsiderate. It is very unprofessional and it's a lot better to inform people of the truth. I would have to agree with Caprice King, they tell you what you want to hear and don't follow suit. If you can spend your money on better customer service, please do so. Lastly, after everything I've said, they do expect you to pay your rent and utilities on time. I was charge late for my utility bill (the 5% was applied to my total rent) due to the negligence of the staff. I had paid my rent on the 1st and the charge showed up on the 3rd (back dated to the 1st). They are late with placing charges on the ledger, but are on time with charging a late fee on your entire rent, even though the rent has been paid and they added the utilities late. That's seems very hypocritical.

DON'T MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!!! The leasing office acts like they care about your concerns but they don't because if they did things would not be so bad. The apartments are nice but the service is horrible. In July, my roommate and I got a notice that said we had to renew our lease in 2 days otherwise we would be charged month-to-month. When we went to the leasing office, we were told of the raised rent prices. Our lease was up at the end of August which but we never received an initial notice that stated terms of a new lease. Apparently it was "hand-delivered" by the director in May but there was no proof of delivery! We had no choice but to renew with the new terms unless we wanted to pay a fee to leave without 60 day notification or month-to-month rent prices which were double the price of the new lease terms. My roommate and I have had a lot of problems with them over the past year and I'm sick of it. Pray nothing ever breaks in your unit because maintenance is a JOKE. Also, they leave the trash dumpers in high traffic areas which is gross and smelly. It's hard to get in contact with the office by phone and when you do they are very little help. They tell you want you want to hear to make you happy for the time being which is dumb because they can never stick to what they told you and you end up being even more disappointed in the end. Moral of the story, nice property, HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT.

I really appreciate management trying to improve and change the situation that I originally stated in my previous review. In addition, they have scheduled a variety of food trucks and workouts to come to the community weekly that is creating a great neighborly atmosphere and camaraderie. Thank you so much for listening!!! I loved the convenience and location however the new management has me looking for a new residence that will value me as a resident. I stayed through all the break-ins; trash non-pickups and the broken garage doors...however the straw that has broken the camel's back is their non-compromising position to allow me to move to another apartment in the same complex, in hopes of a more economical residence, 3 weeks prior to my original lease expiration that was signed with the former company. I was able to do this with the former company when my lease ended last year and thought it would be no issue this time but I guess I was wrong.

I moved into my apt. in October 2016, I'm over 60 and have lived in several apartments communities but never experience the lack of maintenance which I have experience since at Summerfield. I was approved for another community but chose Century Summerfield because of the convenience of the Metro. However, from the beginning maintenance has been at a very low level. There were areas that wasn't clear when I moved in, therefore I had to clear myself. The blinds were dirty and it took several months to get them replaced. The ones in my bedroom doesn't match. I have on several occasions request them to be corrected but as of today they haven't been. It takes forever to get minor request done, for example my recent one of getting a light bulb. The only reason I would stay after my lease ends is because of the convenience of the Metro!
