The secret is to go to Sir Lawrence. The local super does not care about the residential issues and he is quite arrogant about it as well. I recommend that you voice your concerns not with him, rather issue a warranty claim and recheck the status within a week. If nothing resolves then submit another one. This goes to the higher ups and from my experience they have been quite receptive. Also make sure you quote whatever was said between you and the super in your warranty response, especially if this was not the first request.

I'm surprised there aren't more reviews, because everyone I talk to in the development hates this place. This was my first home purchase and I am completely disappointed. I thought I did my research, but it obviously wasn't enough. The homes are cheaply made and craftsmanship is poor in multiple areas. Even when people are dispatched to repair issues, their "fix" is also poor quality. The superintendent of my area is no help either. I honestly have no idea how he keeps his job. It took months for multiple items on my punch list to get completed. In fact, the electrician never showed after dozens of conversations voicing my concern to the superintendent. Do yourself a favor and stay in your apartment or purchase elsewhere. You may be better off buying a fixer upper, because that's what it will feel like after a couple of months of living in your house. You have been warned!

The houses are new but overpriced for the lack of craftsmanship. If you purchase here check over every single thing in the home at least 10 times before signing. The sub contractors they use are terrible and the former construction manager Larry never checked their work. We've had everything from nails stick from the carpets or cabinets to random shards of glass everywhere when we moved in. Now our basement has flooded since our window well wasn't properly installed and the drainage system wasn't working properly. No one from DR Horton has returned our calls. Good thing we have QBE as our insurance company and they have been spectacular. Lastly, the lots here are horribly designed. Some people have no backyard at all or these weird angles.
