I can say I truly enjoyed most of my 2-year stay at Parkland Station. The only real reason I moved was because I ran out of space with my 3 kids and I growing out of the 2 bedroom we had and no washer and dryer in the unit. The only real issue I had was that my car was towed because I parked in a visitor parking space near my building when there is limited parking for residents anyway. No way in hell that I as a single female will walk AT NIGHT from a parking space in the back of the complex where there may be resident spaces all the way to the front where my building was. Other than that it was pretty decent. I can't speak for how it is now, only when I was there from 2012-2014.

I have been living here for almost a year. Pros; spacious apartment for the price. Close to Addison Metro, Close to grocery stores (even though its ghetto.) Cons; they take forever to respond to a service call. The office always uses the excuse the order was never made. Since January 2016 there has been multiple car break in. They hire these boot leg officers that spend most of their time sleeping with tenants than watching the property. The floors creek horribly, I know the buildings are older, but its a huge pain when you have noisy neighbors that want to walk around like they have on cement flip flops. We had ants, I called to report the problem they took so long I just got my own bug spray and took care of it myself. Dont expect quality.

I enjoyed Parkland at first, even though they could not control the roaches. The first resident managers were lovely and hospitable. The new manager Jessica is TERRIBLE and trumps charges on you after you leave. I stayed in a unit all of 1 year and I knew I kept my carpet cleaned because my husband was addicted to the lines in the carpet. She had charged me the entire fee for the carpet, for blinds that I reported messed up when I moved in, for the doors, that are cheap and hollow and guaranteed to break when moving in, for placards that I returned, and for gas that I barely used. I would never return under her management. My cousin left, and because she had a case against them, they charged her 3600 dollars in crazy fees and she was put out only after 9mos of occupying the new space for gas. She never cooked in her unit and Jessica told her she still has to pay for gas because each unit must pay something??? Then she charged her for the same cheap blinds she charged me for and for a door in the unit and the balcony? How are you charging anybody for them outdated balconies that been like that before she even came? This is ridiculous and unless you want to be robbed blind when you leave, or Jessica doesn't like you, I suggest you move somewhere else. The renovations are cheap, and at one time, the 3 bedroom was 820 and all they did was add more cabinets to the kitchen and put in dishwashers. Now the 3 bedroom is 1500.. for WHAT? You can live in better communities other than Parkland, and they won't act like Foulger and Pratt and rob you blind.
