Drove 2 hours down from Philly to meet a friend that used to live in the neighborhood for lunch. Walked in at 1 PM on the day before Thanksgiving and a friendly staff member asked if we had reservations. I looked at my friend like who needs reservations at a place like this? But after being seated quickly and having the crab cakes I realized why! The best crab cakes anywhere! French fries were just perfect and free refills on drinks and coffee! Neighborhood residents and staff very friendly. Can't wait to go back-well worth the drive. This place is a definite one off-when you are here you know you're in Baltimore!

On recommendation from a local, we stopped here for dinner while in town. We heard they had good crab cakes. When we arrived we were greeted instantly and cheerfully. Since it was Saturday night, it was pretty crowded and loud, so we wanted to order take away. We went to be bar to order, but were told that the only take away options were the two "market price" crab cake dishes, with a side of potato chips. By the way, the chips are Utz; they don't make them. Seems a bit over the top to charge premium dollar for a crab cake with some cheap dollar store potato chips. We left and went a couple of blocks down, where the entire menu is available for take away.

Oh. Mah. Goodness. If anyone, anywhere makes crab cakes bigger or more delicious than these, I don't know if I can take it. Superb. Lovely service and neat local crowd, too.

Awesome 11oz crab cake and staff! Reservations are required for this restaurant if you want a seat. Casual lounge type of setting with a small dining area and bar section.

Ordered the crab cake and Cesar salad and it's huge! I mean the pictures do it no Justice. Prices are nice and the poor is questions and clean. Very nice local spot!
