This KOA has all the amenities, including free cable, Wi-Fi, mini golf and a pool. A picnic pavilion is available for group use. Don't feel like cooking? Enjoy Hunt Brothers Pizza on-site. Relax at John's Place, the campground's full-service lounge. This KOA offers an on-site RV sales/service center for plumbing, A/C and electrical problems. Walk to Publix or drive to Walmart, just five minutes away. KOA is a short drive from most popular destinations, including Anne Springs Close Greenway, Carowinds theme park, shopping centers and first-class dining, theaters and museums. Lake Wylie offers fishing, boat rentals and water sports. And nothing can top the adrenaline rush of a racing event at Charlotte Motor Speedway or a visit to the NASCAR Hall of Fame in the heart of race country.

Our Pet Playground has been relocated to a nice grass area on the upper side; close to the upper bathhouse.
Pool is closed for the winter.

An 8-Foot Privacy fence has been erected between the Campground and the rest of the facility and Publix to make a more comfortable experience for all campers. The new fencing blocks out highway and customer noise from the adjacent businesses including John's Place lounge and makes your stay more relaxing!

Lastly, unfortunately, due to the rising cost of insurance we no longer are able to offer the jumping pillow and it has been removed. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Please know that we appreciate your business and your patience during this time of change, and anticipate that at the end of the construction project we will be bringing you a better camping experience than ever before!

Just stayed overnight while traveling. Excellent new bathroom and shower! $60. Is cheapest rate for just plugging in electrical and taking a shower. Never unhooked from truck. Should have better rate for overnighters. Could have gotten a hotel for little more.

We stayed here long term. Overall a good place to stay. Long term is in the back of the park fenced off from short term. Short term is much nicer then long term but as expected with the price difference. Long term is a little packed but everyone was really nice. Long term doesn't have much grass for dogs but the park does have a small fenced in dog park. Park also has free WiFi.

A basic KOA. Nothing special but easy to get to for an overnight stay. The office is in the Valero gas station which had good fuel prices.

We spent 4 days here in 10/17, pulling a 43' 5th-wheel. The camp is in a high-traffic, very busy shopping area, and about 3 blocks off the interstate. It is fairly quiet at night and restful for the most part. Paved roads in the camp are deteriorating. Maintenance is one the decline. Some facilities have been closed for a long time. Sites are level and gravel, and many campers come and go daily. It's a good overnight stopping place. We've stayed there 4-5 times to visit family, and will stay again for the convenience.

We used this campground as a layover place as we traveled. It was great for that use. I am not sure I would enjoy a longer stay. It was a small but quiet campground. There was a playground & small putt putt golf course. There was a pool but it was closed when we were there in October. We had a pull through site which was actually just two sites. We barely fit with our F250 & 35' travel trailer. The restrooms were clean. The small arcade just ate our sons quarters & he was unable to play any games. The staff was extremely friendly. Small store with gas station , state store, & bar.
