Went in to tour the south shore and north shore suites for a future wedding night! They are amazing! Great accommodations and size. They are so home-y and comfortable. The desk clerk that gave us the tour was super helpful and nice!

AKA Carson Tahoe Hotel.  Great value.  Simple accommodations.  Nice staff.  Walk 1 block to the adorable city center.  Mini fridge & coffee maker in room.  Towels are soft.  No safe provided for storing laptops & valuables.

From the outside and the lobby the place looks very very dated, however the room has been remodeled with new Appliance fixtures and everything and I'm very pleased to say the air conditioning works wonderfully! I'll definitely be staying here again. Bang-for-the-buck this is the place. But they don't have breakfast that is probably my biggest complaint.

If you are a light sleeper, don't stay here. I'm not sure if it's just the room we had or just old pipes.. but at about 2am I heard this loud, almost screaming noise coming from the bathroom. Come to find out, it was coming from the pipes in the wall.

The hotel it's self is somewhat decent. Older. But decently clean. Some stains on the carpet but it happens.

Most of the staff we encountered were great  except the lady checking us in. She was frantic because there were 3 people in line. Literally freaking out. She did not confirm the dates we were staying, the nightly rate, nothing. They weren't even sure if our room had been cleaned.  The cleaning ladies said no, tried to put us somewhere else then changed there mind a few minutes later and said it was clean. That made us a bit skeptical but the room was clean so it worked out.

The bed was comfortable and clean,  but no fitted sheets so the sheets just kept coming off the bed.
