Interesting man made lake and walk to see dinosaur tracks. It costs to do the walk and the visitor centre was closed so we couldn't get cash out to pay correctly - this was on a Tuesday afternoon.

This place is amazing. You don't expect to see something like this when driving through the high desert then you come around a curve and there it is. Beautiful scenery, clear water, cheap camping and more stars at night than you can count.

For being man made, it was beautifully done, is infused in its environment, there are places with the most wonderful paramount view.

9/3/18. Drive through to see if this is a park we'd like to camp at. Out decision is no. While the lake, mountains and trees are gorgeous, the park is awful. The roads need re-paving, they are very bumpy. The roads are not marked. They only fit one vehicular and none are marked to direct traffic flow. No paved RV sites, 50 or more feet to hook up to water. Cars and campers appear to park wherever. Appears to be a very poorly managed and cared for facility. It's a crying shame for such a beautiful area.
