I worked with Julio Medina. He and the Coggin Chevy team listened to my specific needs and did their best to fulfill them. I was very happy with my experience and would gladly come back. I never felt like my interests were being ignored. I got a great vehicle, at a great price and recommend Coggin Chevy to anyone who asks!

Melanie vergotz was my service advisor. She was absolutely awesome. Great customer service. She made sure my issue was handled in a timely manner. She showed empathy and concern to my situation with my vehicle. She made me feel like I was here only customer and not just a number. If there were 20 stars she'd get all 20. Overall this was an excellent experience considering the issues going on with my vehicle.

First I'd like to say the sales person I worked with was good to work with at the start. I never felt pressured to commit to anything. This is the one reason I am giving this a 2 star review instead of a 1 star

On to my issue why I felt it necessary to leave this review. When I first met the sales person I was informed that it would not be an issue if I saw a car at a different dealership within the Coggin network. Just let them know and they would be able to obtain the car for me. I sent 2 vehicles I was interested in, one located in St Augustine the other in Fort Pierce. When I arrived at the dealership, I decided I was only interested in the vehicle located at Fort Pierce. After arriving and waiting the sales person came back with unfortunate news stating that the vehicle in Fort Pierce was no longer available because it was "SOLD" to another person and the only option I had was the model available at St. Augustine. At that point I let them know I was no longer interested in making the purchase that day because that was the car I wanted. Shortly after I left the dealership and decided I would continue my search another day.

I had a feeling something was not right. I decided to do a little more research regarding the car I had my hopes set on purchasing. I noticed the listing was still online and had a gut feeling to call the dealership personally. When I called the dealer located in Fort Pierce they informed me that they car was on the lot, but they stated they would go check to make sure. Within 5 minutes I got a call back from the sales person in Fort Pierce confirming the car was there and still available for sale. At that point I told them I would be there the following day to pick up that car.

I personally do not like being lied to. If a car was sold, there should have been no way for me to obtain it in less than 30 minutes after placing a call myself. I don't know why I was lied to, however the only logical thing I could think of was that it was a long commute to fort pierce. I find myself to be a reasonable person, if this was communicated to me I would've been understanding; its a long commute and it may be more of a hassle then a dealer may want. However to that I would say 1st- Communicate that with your customer and 2nd-Don't make a promise you can't keep; "We can obtain a vehicle from any Coggin brand store". 

All in all I don't think I would ever revisit this dealership again to do any business. Buying a car is a can be a stressful situation and having to be worried about being lied to is something I never wanted.

Whitney Hare was awesome with helping me find a SUV!! She was there to answer all of my questions and had impeccable customer service! She made sure we were comfortable the entire time before during and after the sale. She wasn't pushy at all. Would highly recommend her as a salesperson.

Coggin Chevrolet is a first class company because of its employees.  Matt has handled the purchase of my two vehicles without pressure or tricks. Randy has advised me and overseen the service of my vehicles, which has only been routine service, on time on estimate, done right the first time.. And, they provide great coffee while you wait.
