Customer service was not good at all! We arrived on a Tuesday night for the AAU Junior Olympics. The a/c in the room had exposed wiring and sounded like a plane landing. The smoke alarm had been removed from the room. The fridge did not work and the microwave had to be "located." Not until we got Customer Relations involved the next day were we able to move to another room. The front desk did not communicate anything and the General Manager Carrie B and her Office Manager Kim S were less than understanding or accommodating (prior to the involvement of customer relations). Housekeeping was allowed to enter our room even though we had a posted "Do Not Disturb" on the door AND we told the front desk not to allow entry until we were present (for the a/c to be heard}. Had everything not been sold out we would have relocated. Days 3 and 4 were better. Conditions on the second floor were much better than the first floor. Granted it's an old hotel but had the customer service been better we could have adapted better to the adjustments.

This was our 1st time at the Comfort Inn and with the exception of a few little hiccups we were very happy. Here were my issues A. We chose this hotel because it was pet friendly and it was a NON-Smoking Hotel. We assumed the Non-Smoking included ALL of their property. Unfortunately, there were (2) benches (each flanking the front door) plus a large cigarette can on one side and we were greeted with both benches filled with people (plus standers) smoking on both sides. It was like walking the gauntlet. Because we were packed for a week plus (2) dogs, we had to make a few trips. It was unpleasant to say the least. • To the hotels credit when we mentioned our displeasure, they did move the benches a few feet away but not the cigarette can so it was still an invitation to smoke at the front of the property. B. The front door was not an automatic opening door so it was difficult to juggle the luggage and the dogs and not get hit with the closing door behind you. C. They only had (2) luggage carts and they were not there when we needed them. They either need more or a better tracking system. D. The room smelled good and looked great, but after one of our dogs missed the piddle pad a little, I used a wet cloth to clean it up and noticed it had a black stain. I thought it was just because it was in the walk path but unfortunately after testing all areas even in corners where no one walked the cloth came up dirty. It was a little unsettling but not a deal breaker.

The room stinks and has some kind of little black bugs flying around. Like gnats or fruit flies. The furniture is barely standing. The bathtub is gross. And contrary to online claims of $81 rooms, their lowest price is actually $109. I can't imagine how this place has higher than a 2.2 rating. The lobby looks clean... maybe that impresses some people.

Really disappointed with our room and the customer service. Bathroom wasn't clean, we had to wait 24 minutes for the hot water to kick in and even longer for the heat !! Also the toilet kept over flowing! All of this was expressed to the front desk and all she could offer was "$20 off your next stay" ha! There will never be a next stay!

The room had nasty washcloths still hanging in the bathroom after supposedly being cleaned. They need to do done renovations as well. Excellent location but I would not rent here again.
