**Update**
They answered the phone today! I was beyond amazed. I called to check up on the status of my Visa being mailed back to me. They have mailed it back using my pre-paid FedEx envelope. I can even track it to verify. I have since up'd my review from 1-star to 2-star.

THEY NEVER Answer the phone. Worst service and they are very unresponsive.  I mailed in my Visa Application with my return FEDEX envelope and have yet to see anything returned and it's been well pass their processing time. Becoming worried. I've called multiple times - different days, different times --- NO ANSWER. How is this possible. I also make sure I call within the hours they have posted. 

Also, their website seems to be down every other day. I tried emailing them and I get email server rejections.

Just went to the Consulate General of Vietnam this morning for a visa.  After googling for information on visa fees, no information was found, so thought I would share what I learned today.  $80 for one month single entry visa.  $30 for expedited service which had the visa processed within 30 minutes.  Get there  before they open to avoid the lines.  Very efficient and painless.  Oh, and they take credit cards or at least they did today.

Never answer the phone. What kind  of service is that . Is that how vietnamese government works ?
Imagine if I walk in there, it's gonna be a long wait

If you came here...it's probably because these people are not answering your calls either.  Take it from me...they NEVER will.  I called every day for 3-4 days at different times of each day...nothing.

friendly, fast and an all around pleasant experience. try to go when they open there was barely a line. you can get an expedited service for an extra 30 dollars per visa and they were ready in less than 30 minutes.
