Got my visa in less than 3 days! Best consulate experience ever.

The paper work for a Schengen is rather painful just for the sheer amount of documents you have to supply. But it was so WORTH it. Just make sure all your docs are in order before appointment and you should be good. It was fast, efficient and not like the notorious Italian bureaucracy at all. 5 stars!

I have had a really good experience with this office. They actually do answer the phone, but I believe its only from 9am to 12pm. They post phone hours on the website.

If you have questions about citizenship, the best thing to do is follow the directions on the website. They're not being jerks, but they cannot really do anything unless you go through all the steps. And there are a lot of steps.

Stop blaming and complaining about the very few people that are responsible for more than one state, (yes look it up) and do your homework. I had to wait a long time too, but its not the office or the people there.

You should definitely have everything in order before you go. All the information you need is on the website. I got my study visa back 1 day after my appointment!

Had my National Visa for full-time student appointment on Wednesday, June 1 and received passport with visa in the mail on Friday, June 3.  Thought something was wrong it was so fast.  You need to have all your ducks in order as this is a somewhat intimidating process.  You need to book your appointment way in advance as they are already completely booked for July!

A special thank you for Mrs Silvia of the Passport office. She definitely went beyond the line of duty to help us do the passport for my daughter. All appts where taken for several weeks. My daughter had to leave soon. I emailed the consulate on a Thursday afternoon at 2 pm. At 4 pm I received a reply " 
Gentile Signora,
La regola e’ quella di prenotare  direttamente dal sito web con Prenotaonline. Non ci sono quindi appuntamenti disponibili se non compaiono su Prenotaonline.
Posso solo cercare di farle il passaporto dopo aver finito tutti gli appuntamenti regolari e ...
Per quanto esposto dovreste venire verso le 12:10 e poi a secondo degli appuntamenti aspettare.

We went there on Friday at 12:10. Silvia was very nice and helpful. We left the office in 30 minutes with a brand new passport. She skipped lunch and stayed with us making sure that everything was done appropriately.
