We had a wonderful stay. Suite was comfortable and perfect for a family of 4. Beautiful views of the ocean and dolphins from the balcony. The kids loved the indoor heated pool and hot tub which was good because the weather was chilly. Staff was very friendly and responsive. We would definitely stay again. Only downside was the continental breakfast was not deluxe and did not vary at all from day to day. Good news was that we had a full kitchen in our suite so we could prepare most of our meals ourselves and that saved money.

Have stayed in 3 different ocean front hotels at Virginia Beach in the past 2 years. This would be our second favorite so far. The size of the rooms with kitchenette is the best part. The staff is friendly and willing to help. The downsides are the cleanliness and breakfast. There were parts of the room which looked like they have not been cleaned in quite some time. The breakfast is very poor. Bagels, sugar cereal, pastries, and some fruit is about it. Update the breakfast with some hot portions, and continue upgrading the rooms and this could be a 5 star hotel.

A little dated, but an amazing place to stay. Good size indoor pool that is routinely checked and a good size hot tub. Very relaxed and understanding staff. Wish the breakfast had a little more variety though. Rooms were a good size and the kitchen worked for cooking simple meals Overall had an amazing stay. Highly recommend

We stayed at the Barclay Towers in Virginia Beach. We were pleased with every aspect. It seems like it might be an older resort but it was immaculate, right on the beach, and everybody that worked there went over and above to be helpful. Even when I got on the elevator with someone from engineering, he inquired as to whether everything was to my liking. Pool was warm, the roof opened up, hot tub was roomy and a great temperature. We like to travel off-season and did not expect a lot of activities but the food in the area was excellent, I rode horseback on the beach, woke up to watch surfers out the living room window, or open the door to the hall to see the town. I would not have changed anything

I am very satisfied with my decision on staying at the Barclay Tower. The rooms were very clean, great setup, everything you needed for the kitchen. The Staff were very Friendly, especially the evening shift crew! Loved the pool & hot tub! My only suggestion would to have a better breakfast selection, maybe switch it up more daily. Other then that, I would recommend this place to my Family & Friends, we will be coming back! Thank You Barclay for a wonderful stay/so far!
