Haven’t been to this place in years. Went there with my husband on a whim. The service was so great there! The server was so patient and nice and offered to get us something else if we didn’t like the food. She was eager to bring us samples. Great shopping as well. Definitely will come back.

Went for Mother's day,  early to beat the crowds and to enjoy fresh staff and rested cooks. Got there at 8:30 am. 
Got a seat right a way!! Very friendly staff!!  YAY!!!! 
Time to order the food!  I had wanted a couple pancakes with any berry but blueberry...no longer available.  Bummer. 
I asked for eggs over medium.  My eggs were barely warm and some of the egg whites were not cooked...yuck. So I got over easy eggs that were barely warm. 
And my BLUEBERRY pancakes were doughy (not cooked all the way)  in the middle. 
Some of the tables were still available while we were eating.  So I don't think the cooks were that overwhelmed yet.  The manager kept busy bussing tables,  she didn't take time to welcome anyone much less look up and smile.  And yet again,  there were several available tables,  so she could have slowed down while it wasn't crazy yet.  
I was looking forward to a special treat I don't regularly get to enjoy because of my diet. 
I am really disappointed with the entire experience.

Service was mediocre. Although our glasses were never empty, we were rushed to leave. We were literally told a bus had just rolled in and it was going to get loud. We stayed....it never got more busy.  
I love the food, and they do have a more affordable section of their menu if you like that kind of thing. The atmosphere is great and you feel like you're at home eating supper.

Don't miss this place, shop for old school candy, beautiful clothes, rest rooms are always clean, the specials are a good value and the front porch is the best for hanging out with family. We love the chicken. Wait people are nice too.

This is a particularly good Cracker Barrel. The food came quickly, was prepared correctly and tasted as one would expect it to taste - nothing fancy but good. 

Service was excellent. Maybe I just caught it at a good time but I had an excellent visit and will be back.
