My wife and I were shopping for curtains etc for our home. She happened to walk off, in search of the facilities and on her way back walked by a male and female employees overhearing the male saying, “ Keep an eye on him”. As she followed where he was pointing it led to me. Apart from being a black male I had done nothing other than shop like everyone else. She came and told me and we immediately left completely humiliated. Is this truly how Kohl’s operates? By profiling? I’m a Biologist and my wife is an RN. Yet the color of my skin apparently set off an alarm. 😡

We were here on Black Friday in the afternoon and were waited on by an older woman named Dee. We were in great spirits when we came up to her register however she was not and could not have made us feel more of a bother to her. Her tone with us when we asked a question about using our store card for the first time was very snooty.  She stopped to talk to another cashier who came in the door about that cashier's strep throat and her Dr's excuse however she did not take the time greet us, say thank you or bye. Once she handed us our receipt she immediately started talking to the clerk next to her. I should add they were not busy and no one was in line behind us. Maybe she had a bad day or has a bad home situation, who knows? I get that it was Black Friday, it was probably a busy day and maybe not everyone was nice however, a word of advice to Dee, when others are kind to you do not take out your bad day on them.  I have worked with the public for many years and the way you treated us was unacceptable for someone in your field. Unless I am unaware of something you do not own Kohls you work for them so no need to be snooty. You are a representative of their store and are the face and personality customers associate with the brand, I am certain that this is not how they want to be represented in the public.

Went for a pair of shoes and  came out with a car load for Xmas need I say more. Just love the kohls cash for me to buy myself a pair of shoes with. The staff has helped me several times and is great. Never feel rushed and get the quality I am looking for. Keep up the great service and people will come.

Female associate by the name of Erin was incredibly rude. If you can’t answer a simple question politely don’t work in retail.
