We came into town for a concert and chose the Crowne Plaza for our overnight stay. It was located close to the concert venue and the price wasn't outrageous. When we arrived, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They checked us in rather quickly and we were able to go to our room a little earlier than normal check in time. The room was a double, with two full sized beds. It was comfortable and offered a really great view of the Ambassador Bridge and surrounding area. The bathroom was decent, with the only complaint being the low placement of the shower head. But, that was no big deal. The room offered plenty of outlets to charge phones, a coffee maker, nice closet, and comfortable beds. All in all, a pleasant experience that we would be happy to repeat!

A bit old furnishings with the exception off the TV I was surprised to find it expertly mounted on the wall. The climate control seemed to struggle to reach our setting of 72, or maybe it was just all of the alcohol. Some of the head board covering was peeling, but those are the only issues noted. The shower and bathroom are awesome and the view of Detroit downtown and the river from the higher levels was surprisingly beautiful. The location is great too, smack in the middle of downtown with almost any thing you want within walking distance, baseball, opera, bars, etc.

The hotel was extremely accommodating. Allowed for early and late check-out. Let us store our bags there after checkout. The food at the restaurant was good. And they were even able to split the cost of the room for me and my friend so we could pay separately, and one of the guys behind the desk even helped me when I had issues logging in to the internet. Great stay! Clean rooms and comfy beds.

Was here for event at the Cobo center and stayed one night at the hotel. Super convenient as it was directly across the street. Hotel staff were friendly valet parking was nice although pricey for guests. Room appeared clean and decent views from large windows across entire room. Room definitely needs updating, but otherwise acceptable.

Check in and it was very smooth. The valet parking option was great especially with in and out availability. Would have liked the bar to have been open later but it was a Sunday after all.
