I know many people have had anxiety about going to the DMV myself included. However, I was there yesterday and had the best experience when trying to title and plate my trailer. I was lucky enough to have Anna help me. She was extremely patient and pleasant and worked diligently to make sure I was getting the correct plate for my trailer. Anna rocks! The other staff were also super nice. Thank you all for smiling through the situations with difficult people you encounter each day in your very stressful role at the DMV.

To many people and quit been rude how is this if everyone been rude 3 thing people will not come it may go out of business and last it may go bankrupt

Went in for a renewal and address change on my driver's license and vehicle registration one Tuesday afternoon, but the house was packed so I left. I returned on Thursday in the mid-morning and there were a lot less people. After approximately 45 minutes (I had to wait in two different queues, one for DL, then again to change registration address) I was on my way. It would have been faster, but it looked like one person had a lot to be taken care of in one visit, which slowed things down a bit. Went a second time on another Tuesday to register a utility trailer, I was in and out in about 20 minutes; it could have been faster, but those working the service desk also answer the phone(s). When I was leaving at approximately 10:30 AM the line for plates/renewals/registration/etc was going out the door. The seated waiting area looked pretty full as well. The staff was professional and courteous both times. Like any other state agency they are "doing more with less," meaning short staffed due to budget issues. They will do the best they can, but my best advice is to try again another day/time if the place is full. If you can easily see three or more parking spots in the parking area to the side and maybe a couple directly in front of the building it is a safe bet that the place isn't that busy. Just an FYI for those dealing with the SOS for the first time or whom may be unaware, if you pay with a card you will be charged an percentage based fee, something like 2.35%, so bring cash/check if you want to save a couple bucks.

I went there three times and they didn't let anyone know until the day of, that they were closed in observance of a presidents birthday. And it wasn't even their birthday.

2 hours in line to change my address, really slow. Went back another day for registration sticker and it was 90 minutes. Workers are nice but they need to triple the staff.
