Sales experience was great, kudos to Ralph. But the back end is weird and left us pissed off. Turns out, as we were going thru that, others I complained to had the same issue and swore to never use Dewaard again. The problem is, who do you buy appliances from? Its a horrible industry from the service standpoint. Our builder uses Dewaard, so we picked out the appliances from them. We have also used Dewaard exclusively for 3 other homes. I guess everything has been fine since nothing ever broke, which brings us to the issue. Our brand new LG dishwasher broke a steam hose like three cycles in. Water everywhere on brand new floors. Panic ensued, so we call the service department. Some grumpy, older guy told us that they don't respond to water issues as an emergency. Anyway, I ended up talking to the owner because he was a jerk to my wife and I was not impressed by his demeanor. He had a very "we sell a lot of appliances" stuffiness to him that came off very badly. In the end, my wife, who is the mechanical one, had found out which hose had broke and was trying to tell him what was going on and his response was "so now you are an appliance technician?" Very chauvinist and reactionary, like we are insulting his honor by complaining about his service. We were able to get it fixed in a timely manner, but I had to throw a full blown fit to get any level of service from these guys. It was super stressful and stupid. We gave them every opportunity to be awesome and they just really wanted to make sure we new how many appliances they sell. Like I said, at the beginning, weird. 1 star for sales + 1 star for fixing it

Pleasantly surprised! Was able to get the exact set of Washer/Dryer that I wanted (LG) for more than $1,000 less expensive than anywhere else. The sales person was very helpful...the only surprise we had was that we brought it home only to realize that it was WHITE instead of the beautiful silvery color we thought we were getting. Still look stunning though! Even in the garage...

My folks purchased a refrigerator brand Electrolux through dewaard and bodie in Bellingham wa. Has had trouble with ice maker not working spitting out ice everywhere. Has had a total of 12 fridges/ice makers all same product. About 3 weeks ago went on vacation came home to standing water all over hard wood floor. Ruined it $5000 in damages, went to store complain see what going to do about it. Done nothing!! Told them have go through warrenty done nothing. Asked speak with owner of store was told he busy. And continues selling product in store. They have spend thousands in applieces. May want to think twice before buying anything from then. Have reported them better business bureau!!
