We bought a couch here last year, the salesman was very friendly and helpful. However, when it came time to pay, they told us we could use a secondary company to pay for it over time, sounded great, so we signed up. Who doesn't want to make $50 payments instead of $1000? We were never shown a contract, given a receipt, or given anything to sign. It was blamed on a faulty printer, and I was assured it would be mailed to me. Didn't think much of it, until we later found out that the lease/payments more than doubled the cost of the couch. Neat little scam. We would have paid for it outright, if they'd been honest. (I realize I was naive, but I didn't think a furniture company would lie like that) They also 'forgot' to deliver it, 4 times. Then tried to tell us we had to pay the delivery guys $60 in cash, even though we'd signed up for delivery when we bought the couch. Never got a receipt, paid off the couch early to avoid spending an extra $1k, and wasted 4 days sitting around for a couch to get delivered. Definitely won't be returning. (2 stars because the couch itself is nice)

Today on Meridian Street there was a large golf umbrella that had gotten away from its owner and mangled in the street. Vehicles were swerving into other lanes of traffic to avoid it. A JR furniture truck stopped, the passenger jumped out and removed the umbrella from the street, then quickly jumped back in and the truck went on its way. As an onlooker I was so thankful that the JR employees took the initiative to remove the hazard from the busy street . Thank you! And next time I am shopping for furniture I guarantee I will remember this kind gesture!

The initial JR rep. Jim was a very easygoing guy. He was extremely helpful & made the experience easy. Once my order was in, I would have appreciated a little more contact as to when I would be receiving everything I did have to call several times. Furniture movers were great! Super friendly and fast! I would use JR again & have reccomended them to multiple friends.

My experience at JR was actually interesting. I had Yelena as a sales person and she was awesome! She showed me all of the chair recliners that they had, and even though delivery takes up to 4 weeks, I still wanted to buy from her because she was just so sweet & friendly.

5 Stars!! Elena was super helpful! Very professional Also Elena was very kind & personable! Mack the store manager very nice & accommodating. 5 stars from in store to out the door.
