While visiting from MO, my friend, her daughter and her daughter's friend came to visit. The girls, 18 yrs old, enjoying a break before they go off to college, went to this shop to rent 2 bikes for 3 days. The man at the shop, the owner, who told me his name was Jim, refused to take a Federal Military Dependent ID as proof of identification for a debit card for a $50 rental! He stated he wanted a state ID, not a Federal Issued Card that he said could not be trusted as being a nonforged ID! When my friend and I went to pick up the girls, he argued and defended his stance, raising his arms, shrugging, and stating, "You don't have to rent bikes from me!" She was not trying to get a discount, or be given any special recognition, she only wanted to ride bikes while visiting this charming city! Obviously, we would never rent from someone who refused to accept an ID from a young lady who has lost her father who served our country over 20yrs as an officer in the military! Disgraceful! We encourage you not to rent from this shop as well! I regret I can not rate this shop less than 1 star!

Perfect for our family and 10 yr old son on our vacation. We drove to the shop left our car and rented bikes at the shop and hopped right on the Pinellas Trail! Very friendly employees and riders along the trail. Even got to ride along the gulf! Thank you Dunedin Cyclery

What I emailed to them with n response. To whom it may concern, My family was in Dunedin over the weekend visiting family and to take in the Pinellas Trail. We travel on many bike rides throughout Florida. When we got to the parking lot by the train depot I noticed that one of my pedals on my road bike had failed. We came into your bike shop because I had forgotten my glasses and had no tools. Your mechanic was very quick to sell and install new pedals on my bike and even offered to sell me new toe baskets. I declined the toe baskets and asked for my old pedals so that I could put the old baskets on the new pedals when I got home. Due to the prompt service, I also purchased a tube and CO2 cylinder that I didn’t necessarily need simply to patronize your business further for the help. Upon returning home, I grabbed the old pedals to do the basket swap. Now that I had my glasses handy, I saw that the only thing wrong with my pedal was that a screw came loose but was still in the pedal bracket. I am pretty sure that your mechanic saw the same but made the sale and charged me, I believe, $12 labor to R&R 2 pedals. A reputable shop would have pointed out my problem and I would have gladly paid for it to be repaired, as well as purchased even more items with the money you saved me. But that is not what happened and you now only have a disappointed customer to say the least who spent 34 bucks and change on parts I didn’t need. We will be back to ride the trail in the future, but you will not find me patronizing your shop or recommending your shop to those who I ride with in Titusville or anywhere we go. First impressions are lasting impressions and I will remember this. What I can recommend to you is, the next time someone comes into your shop in a bind as I was, help them. Don’t just try to profit off their bad luck. Chuck Beitel Titusville, Florida

Just superb service on my high mileage Bianchi road bike. New cassette, pedals and chain along with cleaning and adjustment has put this bike back in perfect mechanical shape for a very reasonable cost. These guys are the best.

Brought my new bicycle in for a tune up and adjustments, including what i thought might be a wheel rim out of alligement and the pedal crank making a clicking noise. three days later picked it up . I was told that the clicking noise was normal on this bike. I discovered that the brakes where rubbing the rims and this was impeading the wheel movement. the rear wheel still was out of alignment and the clicking got progressively worse. I finally took it to a qualified shop. they informed me that problems where not repaired. whats wrong fellas april too busy a month to take care of a local resident. take my money, don't do the work. IT'S CALLED STEALING!!!!!.
