Great room. Very clean, comfortable and recently renovated. Staff is professional, attentive and friendly. I'm glad I didn't listen to all the negative comments. I would definitely stay here again.

my husband stayed here for a work trip with his coworkers and woke up with bites all over his body, everyone of the coworkers did. they claimed they “renovated”, then why did i read a review from over a year ago talking about their experience with the bed bugs in this hotel. it’s disgusting and i am appalled they are even still in business, if you read any of these “real reviews” thanking the staff and claiming the rooms are the cleanest thing saying they’d like the damn walls they are so clean, they’re obviously fake and written by the hotel and it’s employees. my husband is currently at the doctor because he’s having such a bad reaction to the bed bug bites. it’s disgusting and it makes me sad to think about the families that could be staying there and their children waking up with infectious bites all over their bodies. i’m begging y’all don’t give them any of your business or money that they can use to continue and support their shady awful business.

I was skeptical but I needed a sub $100 hotel for a Friday night in order to attend an event in downtown Charleston. I arrived at 6pm and left at 8pm so I didn't want to pay a lot. I paid in advance and got the room for $93. I had read that it had been renovated and was hopeful. To say that I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. Our room, 118, had indeed been renovated. Knowing I was going to write this review, I started looking for something in the room that I could find that was bad. The only thing I could come up with was the two bedside flexible LED lights did not work. Everything in this room was new and it didn't even have the crud around the bathtub to floor junction that is always present no matter how hard you clean it. Room had a fridge/freezer with microwave, big TV with cable, bedside USB charging ports, new carpet, new tile, new bathroom fixtures, new furniture, new beds, new lights, new AC/Heater etc. It was quiet and there was no riff raff staying there. If all that wasn't enough there is a Waffle House adjacent to the parking lot. You can walk to it. I believe any reviews you read about bed bugs must be for the "other" Econo Lodge in North Charleston, not this one. They must have been mistakenly added here.

I read a review that said this place had bedbugs. Ladies you got the wrong place!! This place is so clean even the tub and toilet are so white. Everything is amazing! The people are are so welcoming and very very pleasant. People don't judge this place by that one review or it's name. It's a great place. And just want to thank the employees for all there hard work keeping it so nice
