We really enjoyed our stay at Elijah Park! Camp host were so helpful and the whole staff was friendly. We came from 4 hours away and definitely plan on coming back and bringing more family.

Very busy state park. They have some beautiful sites, but again they are busy. During our stay here, there was an obnoxiously loud party going on in some of the cabins. It kept going past 10, and the campsite host kept trying to get it to quiet down. It required multiple calls to the on duty ranger that could not be resolved. I was surprised by this, and it overall ruined our experience (as well as at least 4 other campsites nearby). So with that experience I can't say this is the best site in Georgia. With so many other options, it seems this is one of the favorite campgrounds for "parties" instead of individuals that just love nature.

My trail life group camped here and the campground was well organized. There were plenty of restrooms which were pretty clean for a campsite. My only concern was how close the campsites were to each other.

Very nice park, great place to launch your boat but needs better parking for truck and trailer

Great place to RV! Clean, quite, well-preserved state park in the heart of Thurmond Lake! Pontoon rentals were reasonably priced and my boys had a wonderful time tubing on the lake. I am a Tennessee boy and would have never thought I would find a river this nice! We will be looking forward to coming back!
