Staff was warm and welcoming. The fried okra was amazing and steamed shrimp delicious. Fried Green Tomatoes didn’t hit the mark, but presentation was great. Overall a nice experience. The place was really busy the day we had lunch there.
OMG. First time eating here today. First, our waitress, Stephanie, was sweet as pie and gave excellent service. We also got to meet Erica herself and she was equally as nice! Now for the food….THE BEST IVE EVER HAD. The crab dip was so creamy and full of flavor, the grits with my delicious grouper were the fluffiest ever, the MOLASSES SMOKED BRUSSELS are FREAKING OUT OF THIS WORLD, the shrimp and fish are perfect, the banana pudding which I’m normally not a fan of was impossible to stop eating. Even the sweet tea was perfectly sweetened with a clean fresh taste. The people and the food get 10 stars I cannot wait to make another trip here all the way from Upstate SC
The food, great. The service, great, thank you, Nicole. The music is my kind of style. Literally have you dancing in your seat from the flavor in their food. Nicole is very attentive without making you feel rushed. There could be more decorations on the walls, but the place was so clean that I was more impressed with that, the music, the service, and the food, so I didn't really feel too much of a need for distraction from the vibe they already had happening. I wish this place was open more days, but I'll take what I can get! The dish I had was the steamed shrimp, seasoned just right. Mac & Cheese that's not too stringy, just right, and has some nice chunks all together in one bite. The molasses brussel sprouts were killer! I ate them with a spoon just to get those full crisp flakes with the juicy baby cabbage all in one bite. I couldn't get enough! Definitely one of my top choices, and I will be back again!
Delicious food and really cute atmosphere. My husband and I tried the brisket po boy and the pulled pork sandwich with fries and fried okra. For dessert, we tried the pecan pie and banana pudding. So good. Would recommend! Nice local beer selection as well!
If I could rate this place a million stars, I wouldn’t hesitate. We traveled to Savannah for a girls trip from the upstate area and have been following their IG account for months leading up to this weekend. From the Oysters Rockefeller and crab dip to start, I knew we had made the right decision. We both sat in silence for most of our meal in amazement. I almost cried from how great the shrimp and grits were and we finished off with the banana pudding. Stephanie was our server and she was TOP NOTCH, STELLAR, AMAZING, SO KIND, SO PERSONABLE and made us feel right at home from the minute we walked in. To top it off, we got to meet Erica herself and she was seriously the sweetest person. We are trying to figure out how many times we can come back before we leave in a few days! Thank you so much. We LOVED every second of being in your restaurant.
Great place if you are around in Thunderbolt area. Adorable prices too we really liked it. Had the three meat platter for seafood where we doubled up on shrimp and fried oysters it was pretty good and that comes with 2 sides. Had the mac & cheese and the collard greens which were pretty good too. Definitely recommend it!
This was recommended as a “must go” while visiting Savannah and BOY, it most definitely is a must! Every bite was scrumptious and all of their homemade sauces are AMAZING. We had the fried green tomato & grilled shrimp appetizers, BBQ combo and 1/2 chicken entrees and banana pudding dessert didn’t survive long enough on the table to be pictured. To top it all off, our waitress Stephanie made our dining experience extra pleasant!
The food was quick, hot, and very delicious! Our waitress , Jenny, was very attentive. The serving portion size was very adequate for one person. I highly recommend a bowl of crab stew as an appetizer. The low country was delicious and well seasoned with large shrimp. My husband had fried local large shrimp with black eyed peas and rice, the best coleslaw he's ever had, and southern collard greens for our New Year's date. They even provided a water bowl for my dog, Mia. She was drooling for the sausage!
I could write a book about how AMAZING Erica Davis Lowcountry is! First off, every single staff member feels like a part of your family from the moment you walk in until the moment you leave! The food is PHENOMENAL! Whether you're a Savannah local, just visiting, or something in between this absolutely has to be on your list to have! What do I recommend from the menu? ANYTHING. Seriously! One of my favorite spots for lunch, brunch, dinner, or just a snack! I promise you won't be disappointed with this gem here in Savannah Georgia!
Excellent food and service! Our server was such a delight and the food can compete with any high end restaurant in Savannah. But the environment is relaxed and low key. Don’t miss this local favorite from a Savannah family who knows their seafood!
