I know nothing about purchasing a bicycle. My good luck had me set up to meet David at the East Madison store last week. He knew all a mom would want to know about purchasing a bike for a kid, and gave me answers to questions I didn't even know to ask. For example I didn't know there was such thing as an extra small adult bike frame. He showed me the difference between that and a kid-size frame and explained that either one would work, but that my kid would grow out of the kid sized one very quickly. He could have raked this novice over the coals with prices and gadgets, but consistently kept my cost in mind when he was making recommendations to me. He was friendly and funny and had a good manner of dealing with a kid. Top notch customer service and knowledge and a really professional and courteous David = one really happy customer.

Got my snowboard sharpened here. The guy was friendly and knowledgeable. The place was clean and we'll kept.

Best retail experience I've ever had as a conscience buyer, they let me test ride an electric bike for as long as I wanted and walked me through the buying process and I did not feel pressured one bit. 5 Stars from me! Honorable Mentions: Brendan, Erik (not the owner, haven't met that erik) and Dave. All excellent customer services pros and knowledgable aswell as helpful.

Changing my review to 2 stars after a recent visit to drop off my bike for a tune up and a few replacement parts. I picked my bike up and wheels were still out of true, bike was still dirty after I asked if it could be cleaned (told yes they would) among a few other things that I noticed after I got it home. I would give only 1 star but they are nice and friendly, at least. Just disappointed that the things I asked for to be done weren't. If I had time to take the bike back in, I would, however, since Ironman Wisconsin is around the corner, I need it.
