Long term review: I went to Machinery Row in the summer because I was in the area. My bike tire was bothering me because I have to fill one of them every week while the other stays at the psi I am looking for. Rather than selling me a tube I didn't need, he told me I probably had a slow leak and would just need to continue filling it about once a week. 

It's not rocket science, I know, but I appreciate the honesty. They also helped provide some useful information when I was looking at bike lights and made for a overall nice shopping experience. Docking them one star because of the prices even though I know they need to pay their staff etc.

12/10 would recommend. Mechanic was very helpful and got my bike fixed for free even though it wasn't there fault (bad air cartridge from SRAM) Also all the sales pie were very knowledgeable.

Great location on the Lake Monona bike path, so I often by to take advantage of the free air pump outside the store.  When I take my bike in for tune-ups, the repair staff has done a terrific job getting my bike back in prime condition at a fair price.  The staff has always been helpful and accommodating.

Hands down the best bike shop in the area. Lots of selection with very knowledgeable staff. If you need anything bike related this is where you NEED to go.

Picked up a special order Trek bicycle for my wife today from "the most beautiful bicycle shop in the world". It took us 2.5 hours to fit it, test it on the Capital City State Trail,  buy shoes, and learn about unfamilar features, but they take time to make sure it's right. I wouldn't buy a bike any place else. Thanks, Jesse!
