This hotel is excellent for short or long term stays. The staff is super friendly and fix any problems you may have immediately. Rooms are clean and fresh. Kitchen is a added bonus. Recommend for all. A+++++

I must say that this is a hotel that is very comfortable. It truly has all that a person or family needs for a long term stay. What is special about this hotel is that the staff is very nice and really care for their guest. Another great thing about this place is you can go to restaurants in the area or cook your own meals using the stove or microwave oven in your room. You can actually go grocery shopping and store your food in a normal refrigerator not one of those mini sized one. If you are looking or a short or long term place to stay...this is the place.

Was a decent hotel. A little different from other Extended Stay America's that I've been to in the past. Other ones have provided all the kitchen essentials automatically in your kitchen. I would also suggest replacing the toilet seats in the suite bathrooms. (At least the one in the room I stayed in...) Friendly staff.

I stayed in this hotel for 6 1/2 weeks between June & July 2017. Through a contract for an internship, this was the location chosen for me to reside without much consideration of the surrounding area or input from my colleagues that are familiar with this area of Illinois. Surrounding Area: Safety was definitely a concern I had staying at this hotel. If you search for the Lansing Police Department and view the weekly crime blotter, you can get an idea of what I mean. Many hotels in this area have frequent vehicle burglaries. This hotel has good lighting in the parking lot and during my time here, I did not read any reports from the Extended Stay Hotel specifically or have any incidents personally, but it does raise a red flag. One Sunday evening, when I arrived back from downtown Chicago, an unmarked police car pulled up to me in the parking lot to warn me not to stay here as this area was not safe. After having brought this to the attention of my employer, they finally decided to relocate me. I am a very active person, but I was concerned to go out and people often stare at you if you walk anywhere near the hotel. Although there are several bike paths in the area, I never felt completely safe venturing out on my own and often carried a knife and pepper spray if I did go out running. Amenities: The hotel itself offered a decently cleaned room, below my standards of a "nice hotel" as I found myself wiping it down with my own supply of Clorox wipes. The photos are not an accurate representation of how this hotel is in reality. The hallways upstairs are very dim with stains on the carpeting, the stairways were always dirty and looked like they were never cleaned with constant dirt and dust. The hotel supplies you with kitchen supplies that you have to ask for at the front desk, but I went out and bought my own due to the condition that they were in. The kitchen itself is nice with a stove top, sink, microwave, cupboards and full-size refrigerator. The breakfast offered in the lobby includes instant oatmeal, granola bars or packaged muffins with coffee or tea. Most of the staff was friendly when I encountered them. Laundry is available for $2 per load and quarters are available at the front desk. If staying for several weeks, as I was, the room is cleaned once per week, in which they make up your bed, supply you with clean towels and clean the bathroom. The internet works well, a little slow for streaming movies or tv shows, but adequate. It is questionable what other patrons of the hotel do in their rooms. It can be loud, pets are allowed in rooms and I often would hear them barking throughout the night. The people who stayed above me at one point, stomped loudly so rooms are definitely not sound proof. Additional Comments: On the morning that I was to check-out, a hotel employee entered my room without knocking and claimed that she had been told by another employee that my room was vacant. All of my belongings were in the room, as I was still packing, which was well before the check-out time. The room was certainly not vacant and I found this to be very unprofessional. After relocating to a new area, I realized that all of my clothing smells like cigarette smoke from my time at this hotel even though I was in a non-smoking room. This shouldn't be much of a surprise, especially since there were burn holes from cigarettes in the blankets I received every week--so gross. I am very unimpressed with this hotel, although it may be nice for some, it was well below my standards and expectations, especially for a long-term stay and I would not recommend it.

Horrible, I should have just turned around and walked out once I saw the lobby. It gets worse the elevator was nasty hallways need vacuuming. We get into our room. Let's just say I had to go to Wal-Mart to get cleaning supplies and buy towels since they were not able to provide us with towels after two requests. After bringing all this to the staff on duty attention. They were not interested in rectifying the situation at all. But instead told me they do not have 24hr maintenance and with all her duties she is over worked . After listening to so much foolishness and poor excuses, I left. Instead of this being a peaceful, restful stay, it has turned into a damn nightmare
