TLDR: It's a cheap, pet friendly hotel. Don't have high expectations.

Red roof inn is my go-to hotel when I'm traveling. Not necessarily because it's nice but because pets stay free about everywhere, including here. This is on the lower end of Red Roofs I've stayed in aesthetically. There's some holes in the wall(and a cigarette hole in the covers), the door handle is vertical instead of horizontal for some reason, the door says "God is real" in scribbled ink pen, and there's no chair for the desk in front of the TV. 

However, the beds are clean, the staff is nice enough, the heat works, the TV is nice, there's a microwave and fridge, and it's right by the stairs. When you're staying at a budget-friendly motel you have to adjust your expectations. It's perfectly habitable and my pets are happy. It works great for me.

Older place, but maid service is good. Good place to stay if you need a room for a few days. IHOP right next door.

I had reservations for a five night stay for the Thanksgiving weekend. I reserved well in advance, securing the room with a credit card. I requested a handicapped accessible room due to my physical disability. Upon arrival I was stunned to discover that the only available "ADA Room" had been given to another person and this was a non disabled individual! No apologies were offered, no attempt to make it right, nothing, except for an offer of a regular room! HELLO! I REQUESTED AN ADA ROOM FOR A REASON! It was an "oh well" attitude. They had to transfer the other guest to a regular room and I had to wait almost TWO HOURS for the ADA room to be cleaned and made ready. It's supposed to be a non-smoking room, but clearly it was used as a smoking room judging from the stink. I called Guest Relations and they contacted the front desk and the best offer they could make was one night free. They stated the General Manager was "not available" to be reached. I was then told by the person at Guest Relations that he was going to "close the call" and he basically hung up on me. I've always been pleased with Red Roof Inn, however I think I will go elsewhere in the future. This has been a horrible experience!
