Story

Family Medicine P.C. was established in 1972 by Dr. Travis Ferguson and Dr. William Henderson. Today, Dr. William Henderson is sole owner of the practice. He has four nurse practitioners Eva Houghton, CFNP; Melinda O'Neil, CANP; Genevieve Cardona, D-NP, CFNP; and EleaAnn Martinez, CFNP.
We typically can see established patients same day and new patients within 1-2 weeks

I've been going to Family Medicine for over 5 years and I've always been totally satisfied with the quality of care I've experienced. I was recently treated at a totally unrelated clinic over the course of several weeks where I endured 1-2 hour waits in an exam room before seeing a doctor who didn't inspire much confidence. The experience reaffirmed to me just how much better Family Medicine is. I've seen both Monica and Mindy who continually impress me with their professionalism, knowledge, and competence. I'd recommend Family Medicine to anyone in need of personal, quality primary care in Albuquerque.

I had questions about my daughter's serious condition and was told my questions would move her physical and referral to another date. What kind of service are you even trying to provide? I needed to know how to care for my daughter. I am aware that is not what the appointment was for. Being all about the $ when you could be helping people gets you two stars. Step up your game. We are all counting on you.

I was sad to see so many negative reviews on Dr. Henderson's office especially the one on Eva. I have been a patient of Eva since 2012 when we first moved here. I couldn't find a doctor's office and randomly called Dr. Henderson. They were able to get me right in and have been going to their practice ever since. Eva is fantastic and I just love her. I also saw Monica a few times and just as fantastic as Eva. This is a great health care office. I prefer it than visiting Pres which is my insurance carrier. I have recommended their office many times to my clients.

So grateful for this office. I was injured while shopping, and being a military transplant, did not yet have an established provider in Albuquerque. My friend referred me, and when I called, Dr. Henderson's office got me in the next day. Their follow-up has been amazing - I get phone calls every few weeks checking to make sure I'm progressing. So grateful for their attentiveness, common sense approach, and ability to see "the big picture" with my care plan.
