Great little hotel! In a prime spot within a few minutes walking to the Heavenly ski lift and the restaurants nearby. Not much view of the lake itself but you get to see the ski lift from where we were staying. They have an outdoor hot tub and heated pool. The wall ac/heater worked pretty well in our room. They provided a pack-and-play crib for us, which worked out well. They even had events and a little calendar showing you movie nights and stuff like that. Accommodations are basic in the room but has everything you need. Breakfast was pretty decent for the place. Everyone was very friendly. We will definitely go again!

Love love loved it free wine tasting, early accommodating with the suite and THE SUITE was marvellous great vacation spot for a Romantic get away or with family everything you need store a d restaurant wise is In a 2 block radius plus the desk service was fast and pleasana they come to the room right away. Also they give you free gifts if you decline room service and have free activities like movie day or exercise training definitely going back soon thanking jasmine at the front desk she was an angel

Great amenities (free breakfast!) And large, spacious suites with floor to ceiling sliding glass doors to the outside. Great for groups, families or those that don't want to spend an arm and leg on nearby similar resorts. Location is one of the best, If not the best location of any resort in all of Lake Tahoe!

The place is dated and old but it was a really good price. Plus, it is right across the street from Heavenly Village so it's super convenient. Continental breakfast was included and we were upgraded to a two bedroom suite which had a full kitchen. Because they had issues with WiFi and we had prepaid, they weren't able to offer us a refund on the resort fee but they did offer us wine. Additionally, in their effort to be green, you can receive a free gift if you want to pass on daily full maid service. Gifts inside wine or a snack pack. While the place is old, I would go back for the right price.

First thing I'd say about Forest Suites is that it is an excellent value. The price is so reasonable that it more than makes up for not having marble countertops or any other modern renovation. It even adds a little charm. The breakfast is adequate, staff is always helpful, and amenities are just right for guests who don't plan on spending all their time in their rooms. I'd definitely stay here again.
