Went for Happy Hour which was OK of you go for beer and wine. The other Happy Hour deal was for frozen drinks which I'm not a huge fan of. Happy Hour preference aside this place was great. Server was great but the pizza obviously was the star of the show. First off they have such a variety of pizzas to choose from including some vegetarian options. Once we were finally able to settle on one they were perfectly fine with leaving one of the ingredients off for us. This was one of the best pizzas I've had. Toppings were fresh, dough was delicious and the flavor was on point. We will definitely be visiting again to try some of their other options.
This place came recommended by a coworker and had many great reviews, so we decided to try it. In my opinion, it was average. If someone were coming from out of town, it probably is the best option out of every other pizza place available in Shreveport area, but compared to others I've had in my life, nothing special. Very overpriced for food that is fine. Inside is cute and they have a nice outdoor patio area.
My family went for dinner on a Monday night. We ordered the warm olive salad and two pizzas: the Big Hurt and the L'Hawaino Italiano. It was DELICIOUS! Though it was pretty packed, the wait for our dinner wasn't long at all. We probably waited longer for our waiter to bring the check...service did leave a little to be desired. Not sure if our waiter was just burned out or what. Anyway, won't deter me from coming back! I absolutely love pizza but rarely eat it because I'm particular about it. The crust was amazing, the sauce was absolutely delicious. I can't wait to go back and try more! NOTE: They do offer gluten free options, but the menu says they require 6 hours notice. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available with 6 hours prior notice.
Frank's was recommended by a colleague who lives in the area and I am so glad she did. Delicious pizza, salad, soup and burrata. My mother can't eat super hard food so we asked for some soft bread for her burrata and the waiter went and found her some. Pizza crust is thicker than I am used too but it was super soft and delicious. I got a pizza with fresh tomatoes and the crust was very wet but still delicious. Can't wait to go back and try other items. Vegetarian options: Fungi fungi pizza is vegetarian. Wheelchair accessibility: Several wheelchair parking spots and no steps involved. My mother was able to access without any issues.
Awesome atmosphere and great staff! We sat on the side patio as no one was there we had our dog with us. Great food, great drinks and great service, wish we could go more often but don’t live in the state /: Also wish we could try their other restaurant - Frank’s Louisiana Kitchen. We got the L’Hawaiano-Italiano pizza and it was delicious. They have tons of options to choose from and desserts as well. We got the Nutella Calzone and *chefs kiss*. I would definitely recommend the dessert and this for a fun night out with the family or for a date night. Perfect for dogs and they even brought out a water bowl for our dog and are super dog friendly!
Frank’s isn’t a place I wouldn’t recommend to eat. It’s just my opinion though. You don’t have to take my word. I honestly think their food isn’t the best. The ingredients they use is not great either. I ordered one of their specialty pizza’s. You obviously know they experiment on their dishes. I don’t like their duck meat pizza. It has pineapples and some nasty sauce. I wouldn’t recommend this. Also, their soup of the day was delicious. Overall, I won’t come back for their food but their service was amazing.
The pepperoni pizza is great. The mozzarella bites covered with pepperoni is awesome. I bet it isn't loved by everyone but if you really like mozzarella and pepperoni then you will love it! The food is pricey but it's definitely tasty.
Pizza has quality ingredients, the cheese is amazing. Not your Walmart grade cheese. We love the pizza here. It's a little pricey but they are generous with their toppings. Great place for alcohol beverages if that tickles your fancy.
This is our new place. We sit outside, it's lovely. Live music all the time, the good kind that allows you to relax and also hear what your husband is saying. Pizzas are great, new creative ones on the menu all the time. Happy hour house wines are good. Staff is exceptional.
Always a favorite place of ours, best pizza in Shreveport/Bossier! Fresh brick oven pizza and amazing cocktails in a cool atmosphere. Service is usually good, but had a couple times with an aloof server that made it a little uncomfortable. Still very accommodating and a great dinner!
