The place is great with plenty of spacious lots. The staff is great and helpful..ALTHOUGH I returned to my trailer from a ride around the property only to find a note saying "Sorry if I hurt your feelings, but we don't allow guests to fly Rebel flags .Not from cars , trucks or on their site. Otherwise you may hurt someone else's feelings. Maybe I'm wrong but I thought we were in Virginia a southern state. What about my feelings? Kinda confused. But other than the limited freedom of speech the place is great. Wonder if my Mississippi State flag will be next ?

Small Country Campground is a little rustic but a very nice Campground. They offer activities as well as event weekends. They usually have a nice Fourth of July celebration. The last time we went they had reasonable prices.

It's a huge campground with a nice little lake, lots of trees and rural enough... Pads are all out of level, bathrooms could improve, wi-fi sucks, and fulltime rvers abound, some kinda scary. This was on feb 2018 and prices were high: $40 week, $45 weekend.

Thank you to you and your staff for going above and beyond! We are still new to RVing and needed assistance with our hitch yesterday morning and the two gentlemen you sent to help were wonderful. Also thank you to the office staff, very accommodating and helpful. We can’t wait to return in the spring and summer when all your facilities are in full swing.
