Great place to hangout. Took lots of pictures none of you guys will see. Had a great family vacation up there. I highly recommend going during or after rain falls because you'll see the falls rushing down like your mom.

Gorgeous State Park located on Minnesota's north shore. Well worth the drive from anywhere in the state (or Western WI) to come see. Miles upon miles of hiking trails all with amazing views. Have seen people climb up cliffs here, probably pretty dangerous for them to do but pretty cool to watch. Would love to camp here some night and hike all day, but not very outdoorsy myself. Cannot wait to come here again next year.

Definitely worth visiting, beautiful falls and trails. Personally I think it's better to visit Gooseberry in the winter. In the winter the waterfall freezes making a beautiful icy wall and because it's cold there's not many people it there so you able to have the place to yourself. In the summer it's one of the top tourist destinations in the north shore so there are so many people at that time. Either way if you haven't been here you should check it out.

It's as mystical as it is popular. As fun as it is dangerous (Winter season.) The ice is unforgiving, but worth traversing to see the frozen waterfall. This drive around the lake is the icy-cold-freshwater-far-safer version of the road to Hana (we visited Hawaii this past December), and this particular stop was one of my favorite aside from the black sand beach. A lovely place! Yay nature. 5/5

What a gorgeous place! So many trails. Love walking to the main falls. The trails toward the lake provide great views and interest. My favorite trail was toward the East, which is a longer hike all tge way to a rope bridge across the river. I want to call it the upper falls, but not sure if that's correct. Explore and hike this beautiful park!
