Glad to have a bus station close by. For trips that don't go through Detroit, the Southfield Greyhound station is a great option. It's is small but quiet. The buses load very quickly to get you to your destination. Highly recommend. The only drawback is the limited hours for the in side of the station.

Hahaha! Sorry just had a flash back ;) anyways this place is awesome. The staff is always friendly and ready to help me. I am such a last minute person and the man said "1 day I won't be here slow poke" I laugh because I know it and I always try to be the clock. And he always helps me thru my fumbling with cards or money and my daughters ticket. She travels almost every weekend here and on her way out I buy her ticket instead of when she gets here just grab her return trip then smh...! Great safe place to wait for your bus. It has inside and outside shelter

Drove in to print out a ticket as I will be travelling on Memorial day to my new job and my boss warned they would be closed.  There are people inside looking at me 2:20. I was not aware they closed for lunch but they close at 2:30 then reopen at 3:30.  Why they won't help me I don't understand.  Now I have to sit here it the heat until they open in an hour all because they can't be bothered to do a 30 second task during business hours.  >  UPDATE > 3:40 AND STILL CLOSED FOR LUNCH.

Modern technology does not apply here, they are operating in the 20st century. If you book and pay online a confirmation number means nothing, you cannot board without paper receipt in 2016. Agent at the desk is very unsympathetic and corporate minded. Greyhound is missing the point without customers, you have No Business.
