The bus station is very nice. I would give it 5 stars if the bathroom wasn't completely disgusting and the staff were more helpful. If you have never traveled via greyhound before it would be a nightmare. There are no signs telling you where your bus is going to pull in at and the only hint you will get as to where you are supposed to go is after you have stood in line and waited and the bus driver tells you that you are in the right or wrong line.

The Greyhound bus terminal was nice clean and a great place to meet wonderful people. The bathrooms may need a little work and they could add a little more phone Outlets for charging more phones. The workers at the counter are very nice and wonderful. You get your tickets Within less than 2 minutes. Announcing the buses or what gate you should go to could be a little bit more better.

This greyhound station is a joke. There is no security and they are short staffed. We missed our bus because there was only one person working and there was a guy in line running his mouth and starting fights with everyone in there. They called security and no-one ever came. Not only was it a scary situation we had to pay $23 more than our original ticket price because of their non-sense. I would not suggest going here alone. Good luck calling any greyhound customer service...your call will go right to India where no one understands what you're saying and good luck understanding them!

Service could have been better and the Ladies' restroom was filthy. There is a security guard woman who is very rude and acts like she has a chip on her shoulder. She approaches everyone as if they have done something wrong. My Mom recently took the Greyhound to Chicago and she politely asked if she was standing in the correct line. The woman rudely responded, "You will have to wait for the driver to come back in before you can load on.". My Mom calmly told her that she knows she has to wait before she can load the bus, she just wanted to know if she was in the correct line because she does not take the bus often.". The security guard woman continued to repeat herself and then had the nerve to tell one of her co-workers, "See what I am saying," I can write a book about this place!". It is obvious most of the employees hate their job there. If that is the case, they need to find something that does not require working primarily with the public. A lot of Greyhound employees can be very rude, especially at this station. Rudeness extends from the drivers all of the way down to the security.

Bathrooms were semi-clean, and indoor seating was nice. However, you could easily miss your stop with the bus arrivals being yelled aloud by the attendant, instead of being played on the speaker. Also, the folks loitering outside was a bit much. If you are going to use the Howard St Station, remain inside and close enough to the attendants to hear your bus called (or better yet, ask them when the bus is coming and stay close to the doors).
