We recently brought our 4 year old daughter into the ER shaking from fever. After staff took her temperature we got wise remarks from one of the nurses after asking to take it again. Head DR. Said he was sending us home, i made him feel my daughters head and he said it felt like a 99 fever. My wife and i refused to leave without them checking her temperature again which they did. Over 106° they gave her motrin, Head DR. disappeared and never came back. The nurses were busy on there facebook , while we were left on our own, we had to wet down paper towels and try to cool our daughter down ! Forgot to mention that the E R was empty that night. Disgraceful and very disappointing . I would give a negative rating if possible.

On Friday February 2nd, I fell on ice in my apartment's parking lot, and hurt my foot. I was in a lot of pain and I ended up coming to the ER. Initially I was nervous about coming here due to the low rating but I was in a lot of pain and Hackettstown Medical Center was the closest. I had a very positive experience here. When we arrived, they gave my boyfriend a wheelchair so he could take me from the car to the ER without me limping and risking falling yet again. Check in was quick and easy and the wait was short . All the staff was very friendly and made me feel comfortable despite my circumstances. After some x rays the doctor determined my ankle was sprained and I was given crutches, an aircast, a lot of helpful information about how to take care of my ankle and help it heal, and was taught how to use my crutches. On top of that, the following Friday I received a follow up call asking how I was doing, if I had any questions for the doctor and if they could do anything else for me. I've never received a follow up call from any other ER I've been to. It's clear they really care about patients and their well being here .

This place serves as the dumping ground for Atlantic health; all the losers, misfits and doctors too stupid or lazy to excel in their careers end up out to pasture at this hellhole. From the moment you enter the ER, you are greeted by nasty receptionists and lazy nurse staff. The doctors are bordering on criminal negligence at all times and the place is so dirty and dark one would feel as though they had arrived at the US Detention Camp at Guantanamo Bay. Please accept my strong warning, if you care at all about your family members, especially your children, drive to Morristown. Once you sit in this ER for 40 minutes waiting for some loser to speak with you, you will realize that you should have spent the 40 minutes driving to Morristown. With any luck, this place will be abandoned by Atlantic Health and the morons and loser doctors this place employs will be left jobless. May they all burn in hell.

I went to Hackettstown medical I had to wait over a hour in the waiting. When I was taken to the back to get checked out the nurse and the doctor were extremely nice. I wish all doctors and nurses were like that I'm glad I didn't Go to St. Clares Dover

Incompetent Hospital and Staff, DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL, I went there in August of 2017 just to get an ultrasound done on my leg to make sure there wasn’t a blood clot, my doctor told me to go , first they did blood work for no reason, then the ultrasound which showed no blood clots, I told them I was seeing my Orthopedic doctor the next day, they told me I could leave, then the doctor came back in and said they saw something from the ultrasound and I needed to get a cat scan done, after that they said another doctor looked at it and I needed surgery because there was bleeding in my leg, they put in an Iv did more blood work and then the doctor came back in and said another doctor looked at the cat scan and said I didn’t need surgery, then they released me from the hospital, I barely got out of the parking lot and the hospital called me and said I needed to come back and have emergency surgery, I came back and they put another iv in me took me to the operating room, were the person transporting me stepped on my iv line and pulled it out of my arm, then he forgot his key to get in the operating room, so I was sitting in the hall blood dripping all over the floor, finally in the room the nurses are trying to figure out why I had 2 admissions to the hospital, the incompetent surgeon came in drew a line on my leg were he was cutting me open, I was put under anesthesia, when I woke up in the recovery room, I was told they didn’t do anything, he said I was put under to do another ultrasound (I went under anesthesia for an ultrasound sounds like a lawsuit to me ) I was under for 20 minutes, I don’t know why because I was kind of out of it from the anesthesia but I was admitted to the hospital, the next morning some other incompetent doctor comes in and says I need an mri done because I could have a pulled muscle or cancer by this time I’m in a daze, I have no idea what’s going on I only knew I wanted out of this hospital.When all was said and done I had a torn muscle which I told them I had in the first place. Then they had the nerve to send me 2 Bills from the emergency room because they were incompetent 2 bills from emergency room doctors, bills for ultrasound, cat scan mri, 2 observation doctors ( what were they observing there incompetence) other doctors never even seen , anesthetic (for putting me under for 20 minutes for no reason), an incompetent surgeon (who did nothing) my insurance already paided out thousands of dollars to them, now there sending collection agency’s after me. ANY LAWYERS THINK I HAVE A CASE LET ME KNOW
