As a note regarding the response below. I have not been contacted by Nissan corporate. No attempt at a resolution was made. This complaint is probably better directed toward Nissan regionally than a specific dealer, but my experience was with this dealership. And, although it seems petty to bash a small-town dealership like this, I have few other options to share my opinion. I wrote the following on a consumer affairs survey Nissan sent me after my repair was done here. In which, I asked for a response. I received none. I won't be buying Nissan again. My 2017 Nissan Frontier with 3,800 miles required a completely new clutch disc and cover, throwout bearing, shaft and flywheel due to an apparently acute failure. For this I paid more than 2,100 USD out of pocket, i.e. 100% of the cost on a vehicle I bought new in August. I understand that a clutch is not covered under warranty as a wear and tear item, and therefore Nissan is legally not beholden to pay for this part failure or any other part that needs repairing once the clutch is found to be damaged. Nonetheless, the indifference shown to me will most likely prevent me from ever buying or using Nissan services again. I understand Nissan has to draw the line somewhere on parts, but I would think that line would be somewhere north of 5,000 miles, at least. The dealership seemed genuinely to regret having to charge me for the repair, having escalated it to a regional manager, who decided not to cover any of the costs under warranty, and with whom I never had the opportunity to talk. After calling Nissan's customer care 1-800 number, I appealed the case, but it was reviewed by the same regional manager, who only said no, again. I am in my thirties and have bought two new vehicles in two years for my wife and me. One of them is a Nissan. I am at the beginning of a long potential relationship with Nissan. Unless otherwise proven wrong, I do not trust Nissan to stand by their products and will no longer consider nor recommend Nissan for future purchases of vehicles or service to my truck or other vehicles. This is unfortunate because I love my truck. I want to like Nissan as a company, but I am left asking everyone what they would do in my situation, including my local dealership, as I was more than 100 miles from home when the clutch went out and Harrisonburg Nissan was the closest dealer. They all seem unanimously baffled that NONE of it was covered under warranty and tell me to fight it, but how? After researching clutch failure under 5,000 miles on Nissan Frontiers, I found as many instances of peers experiencing the same failure as I had time to look at. Which may indicate a larger manufacturing or design issue and not an isolated failure. You might think, well this guy just doesn't know how to drive a stick or probably used the clutch as a foot rest. Well, you'll never know for sure, but I didn't, and this is not my first manual trans vehicle, the others with 100k plus miles on one clutch. This was an acute failure. If I were doing it all again, I wouldn't trust Nissan with my investment. Neither should you.

I was wanting a new vehicle but didn't have the best credit. Nissan (Zach) worked hard to figure.something out and got me a.payment I was pleased with. I'm so happy with my.car and the great service from Nissan that my friend also went a few weeks later and bought a truck. Very good experience!!

Worst dealer I have ever delt with! My Nissan Versa went in for transmission work. It was supposedly repaired (never received a work order as to what they did), and broke down again, with same issue on first test drive. They refused to work on it again, saying they fixed the issue. Upon taking it to second Nissan dealer, we were told that the transmission needed to be replaced. Hburg Nissan has also failed to fully cooperate with Easy Care insurance in regards to the first repair. Think twice before trusting your automobile to Harrisonburg Nissan !!!
