The staff was friendly and helpful even when we came in during the last half hour of business on a Saturday. They stayed after as we signed the documents for the car we bought. The car was clean and mechanically sound. They even provided the original 2 key fob keys, unlike a different car buying experience we had. These guys are great, they will help you find what you are looking for and take care of you.

It's difficult to split the star rating here because my experience was both good and bad. John (my salesman) was a great kid. He really worked hard for me. Ben (finance) was very accommodating and made the finance process enjoyable. Casey (negotiator) was a very VERY unpleasant man. He essentially accused me of lying about what I was told during the negotiation process and was very belligerent about it. His attitude nearly cost Hertz my business. We still have some work to complete on my new truck, so we'll see if Hertz (Casey in particular) comes through for me. Admittedly, I am skeptical.

We didn't end up buying here because they didn't have the car we wanted at the time but it was still a great experience. Great, relaxed staff. I will go back when I'm buying again.

Korey is awesome.  I have recommended him to others looking to buy a good quality used vehicle.  Hertz in Layton will definitely be my go to dealership for future purchases.
