This location also serves the North Las Vegas Airport. Reservation made four days in advance for a "late arrival drop off" at the the North Las Vegas Airport. Should not be a problem for gold members. Called and confirmed the day before and was told car would be there.  Called day of my flight at 2:30 and was told the car would be there.  Arrived at 6:30pm and there was no car. Office was closed so nobody answered the phone. Corporate office said the reservation was noted that "because he has not rented from us before, we could not drop off a car." GREAT. I confirmed TWICE. There was no message that they called to tell me about this while I was on the plane.  There was no email indicating there would be a problem. Told me twice the car would be there, and I was stranded at the airport without a car when we arrived.  Use Enterprise. There were 4 of their cars waiting for reservations.

These ladies are very nice and helpful! Despite being set up for failure by corporate policy they remain friendly,  accommodating, and very helpful. Tramise (I know I spelled this wrong) was a pinnacle of professionalism while multi tasking and calling all around to get me the vehicle I needed. They went above and beyond. Thank you

Incompetent service. We made a reservation for a car last week, planning to get an early start to a long trip. When we arrived there was only 1 person in line ahead of us, but it still took 20 minutes to be seen. Then we were informed that the type of car we reserved was not available. We could upgrade (and pay more, despite our prior reservation) or wait for them to find a car at a nearby Hertz. We've been here nearly an hour and finally we're being shuttled to a different location to get the car.

They said this happens (because of large events and such) about twice a week. So there's "nothing to do" about it. You know, because businesses can't plan for rare events like this. 

Tl;Dr Never use Hertz.

Worst car rental place. I had to rent a car and barely drove off the lot when I noticed a nail in the tire. I called the place and they put me on a 30 min. hold and while I was on hold they left for the day because it became after hours. So I called the main location by the airport and spoke to the road side care. They waved the fee for me and wrote in the notes that I can return the car to the same location due to the hazard of driving on a freeway with a nail in tire. The next morning I went have to this place and the front desk rep was very rude and blamed me for the nail and wanted me to pay for the $500 damage fee. I told her to look at her notes and she did not want to pull up that I called within the hour I picked up the car at their location. Once she finally got off her high horse and looked that I called, she said I had to drive all the way to the airport to trade my rental and that I would be safe doing this. Mind you this is about 45 mins distance and on the freeway. My jaw dropped that she insured my safety of me and my child.... I thought it was a joke but she was dead serious. I told her no way and that she needs to call another location that is closer for the trade. She looked straight at me and said no you do it. I was shocked and she needs to be fired. Never again I am going to rent from hertz.
