Staff helped us out. Our Trailblazer with satellite radio was a must driving through the Mojave desert and Vegas, listening to stations by Elvis, Beatles, Sinatra, Springsteen, Reggae, Old School Hip Hop & Classical. 🎚🎶

I will never use Hertz again! I reserved a car a month prior to my trip to Vegas and requested a car seat with the car because I was traveling with a 1 year old by myself so I didn't have the extra hands to carry that much stuff by myself.
1st, when I got there I had to use a kiosk because all of the agents were busy and had been for a while. When using the kiosk I was told that because I was paying with a debit card instead of a credit card I needed a second form of ID (besides my drivers license) to rent the car. Now I am 2,000 miles away from home and they want me to magically find another form of ID. I told him if they wanted that then they should have told me in the beginning so I could have brought it. They ended up taking my flight information and letting me go.
2nd, I walked out to my car with my 1 year old on one hip and dragging my bag and carry on thinking there would be a carseat out there, nope! I had to drag everything back up to the front where I had to ask for one and the guy came out and handed it to me. He didn't offer to help me to the car with it or anything so I had to make my 1 year old walk through a busy rental car lot while I carried all of this stuff myself.
3rd, If you don't fill your car back up before drop off they say they charge "premium prices per gallon" so you would think maybe $3 or $4 per gallon....no, they charge $9.99 per gallon!

I understand when you book an economy car that you cannot expect much. We got a Yaris, which would've been fine however the vehicle had a nonfunctional windshield sprayer (a major inconvenience for trekking through the national parks in the area in the winter). Another huge inconvenience was the cars lack of cruise control! What cars today don't have this?? Upon return, the car had some mud in the wheel wells and some remnants on the floor mats, which would be common place for the winter park tour. We were charged $100 for cleaning. A little ticked at the cost of this. Yes, the car needed cleaning, but $100? 

Oh well, I learned my lesson to rent cars from better the rental companies even though paying a bit more.
