Worst place ever. Glad its going out of business. Most of the time, employees there never acted like they cared about the customer. You walk in past several employees and they act like that rule the world and you are doing them a favor. That's probably why its going out of business nationwide. Sorry the people are losing jobs there, but there was still horrible customer service there.

Good price but that is where it stops. The first delivery the stove was damaged at store. The second delivery was to be made 3 days later by Alan their third party technician who was converting the stove from natural gas to LP(at a cost of $99) when he didn't show I called and he told me he only did the conversion and not the delivery however the salesman said he would deliver it and convert it at my home and Alan had previous said he would deliver it. So I called the store and they told me it would now be delivered two days later on the following Monday. Monday rolls around, delivery comes and the stove has 2 dings in it, I agreed to take it with a $100 discount. Guess what? 8 days later discount hasn't shown up on my account. I call, get put on hold, call dropped. I call again, talk to someone they put me on hold and eventually another person answers, I call once again explain my situation, they transfer me to the warehouse manager who says oh yeah, no problem I can give the credit, two days later the credit hasn't shown up so I call again, this time I am told it can take up to 7 days because of the holidays. Wow great computer system. They also say I can come to the store with my credit card and they can credit my account. No thanks. So my wife fires up the oven today, and yellow flames are shooting up into the oven with a toxic smell. I get on the internet and research and it seems the conversion wasn't done right. So I call the conversion tech(Alan) and get voice mail. I then get online and watch a video and adjust the spud nut and viola the flames are no longer jumping out of the oven and no more toxic smell. Guess I should have kept my $99 and done the conversion myself. So, there you have the majority of my story. 3 scheduled deliveries, 2 damaged stoves, damage credit still pending and an improper LP conversion that I paid $99 for and had to fix myself. I could also bore you with my initial stove purchase from Sears and all the problems I had with them that then led me to HHGregg but believe me it was very similar and the bottom line is I will never purchase anything from either one of them again. Good luck in your appliance shopping when all we have left is big box stores who could care less.

Philip Scott was amazing in assisting us with picking out a new stove. Even though we ended up purchasing the stove at the Buckhead Store in Atlanta, we made sure Philip got the credit and commission for the sale. Great Job Philip!

After reading the reviews, I was very hesitant to give them a shot when it was time to get a new TV. They opened at 9:30, and the competitors opened at 10:00 so I thought I'd at least kill a half hour in there before the other stores opened. Based on the awful reviews, I was expecting an experience where I could walk in, be ignored, scope out the TVs, and then head down to Best Buy to get the TV I wanted. That assumption couldn't have been more wrong. When I walked in, I was greeted by Marvin and he asked how we were doing and what we were looking for. He then spent the next 45 minutes showing us a variety of TVs that had the features we were looking for. The most impressive thing was that he knew the real details about every TV he had on display. I had done a lot of research prior to coming in to the store and could tell that he really knew what he was talking about and not just making crap up to sell a product. I decided to leave and think it over before committing to such a large purchase and there was no pressure to buy right then and there. Coming back several hours later, he was able to help with the last few questions and finalize the purchase. All in all, this was a great experience. I would have no hesitation in shopping here again, or in recommending them to someone who is looking for electronics or appliances. If you've had a bad experience here, but are willing to give them one more shot, go in and ask for Marvin. You won't be disappointed this time.

Honestly, I'm not sure why my husband and I continue to deal with HH Gregg. Except for a very few noteworthy experiences, overall the customer service reps - inside and on the phone - take a very lackadaisical approach to customer service. This time around, the husband and I went to the store to purchase a microwave/convection oven. There weren't any in the store, so the sales person (I cannot remember his name right off hand), was helpful enough to put in a special order for us. We were told that it would take about ten days for the item to be received. So, after the ten days, I called to check on the status of our order, and I was informed that it had not yet arrived. So, about a week later, I received a telephone call from HH Gregg, stating that our appliance had arrived and ready to be picked up. The husband and I took a trip to the store that following Saturday. This turned out to be a wasted trip because, apparently, my microwave was NOT THERE. I played the message back to the customer service person so that she could hear for herself that I was told my merchandise was at the store. The service rep confirmed that the message was left by Emily. She then went into storage to double check, and returned to inform me that, no, my microwave oven was not there, and that they would call me when it arrived. Let's fast forward to today, when I received an email from Synchrony Bank informing me that I was PAST DUE on paying for the appliance (which I had not yet received). So, I called the store a few minutes ago and spoke with Gina. At first, she informed me that the merchandise was not there. Then I related to her the message I received from Emily, and asked why was it taking so long for it to arrive, when I was told that it had been delivered? Gina placed me on hold, and after about a minute or so, she informed me that my appliance is actually at the store! I informed Gina that I will stop by after work today to pick it up. Long story short, what I think happened is that my microwave was sold to someone else (in error???) Mistakes happen, but if that is what happened, I would have appreciated truth over a lot of run-around. Let's see what happens when I go to HH Gregg today - HOPEFULLY IT IS ACTUALLY THERE. Otherwise, HH Gregg and Synchrony Bank can both kick rocks. ****UPDATE*** - So, my trip to HH Gregg was not in vain. I received my microwave. I asked the gentleman who assisted me why it took such a long time for the order to come in. He explained "something" about it being a special order, etc., etc., etc. That still doesn't answer the question of why I was told that my microwave was there when it wasn't. At any rate, the entire transaction was pleasant, and the customer service was on point, so HH Gregg gets an upgrade for now!
