HI Downing is a great base from which to explore Central New York. Located in the Sedgwick-Highland Preservayion District, the amazing Victorian mansion was Built in 1895. Featuring original stained-glass windows, an incredibly ornate main staircase, and a self-service kitchen, and coin-operated laundry. Perfect for trips to the Finger Lakes, Lake Ontario, and the New York State Fair.
We offer dormitory-style rooms and we also have private family and couples rooms. All hostels provide a blanket and pillow. Linens are included in the price and towels are rented at $1.00.
