Story

The boutique Hotel @ The Lafayette features 57 rooms which include one and two bedroom suites, mini-suites and four bridal suites. Each room is luxuriantly decorated with Pan-American décor and all modern conveniences including high speed internet and 40-inch flat screen televisions.

Historically & beautifully restored offering mixed use services for residents, guests and visitors. We offer the Pan American Grill & Brewery, Public Espresso, Woyshner's Flower Shop and private event spaces managed by Pearl Street Catering or AcQua Catering.

Went to a wedding here and overall thought it was nice! Food was good, wait staff did a good job, and everything went smoothly. My friend forgot his credit card at the hotel bar and when he went to get it back he tried to pay his tab the bartender wouldn't let him. He said it's on the house because everyone tipped so well.

We were there for a wedding. Everything was gorgeous, clean, inviting, and we had a fantastic time! I have food allergies and the head server was all over it. Someone brought me a plate of food and she came running over to tell me it wasn't mine and not to eat it, swapping that plate for my special food (which was delicious!) And reminding the other servers of my allergies. The bathrooms were right outside the ballroom which was awesome...no wandering around to find them. There was free valet parking for wedding guests (not sure if that's something they do normally?) So it was nice not needing to walk a few blocks in heels and achy feet at the end of the night. As a photographer, I hope to book weddings here now that I've been a guest and had a pleasant experience!

Hotel @ The Lafayette is definitely a plus for the City of Buffalo. The details you find in the woodwork, ceilings and floors are unique and take you back in time. The junior suites are large, comfortable and have a large bathroom. You are walking​distance to Shea's Theater and many great restaurants including the Pan American Grill located on premises. Very reasonably priced selection of wines and of course a great beer selection.

We were in the greenhouse room setting up for the Carly Club prom. Beautiful room! Would definitely recommend it as a venue. Staff were courteous and helpful. Only complaint was that serving dishes that were set out were not very clean and very dusty.

We went to a wedding reception, and the room was beautiful; rustic, open floor plan, a nice room for a reception. One of the servers that delivered the food literally "tossed" the plates with salads on front of us onto the table . As for the open bar, we had two bartenders for 180+ people, most of the night that wasn't enough. Overall, the room was beautiful, the staff was mediocre at best.
