Awesome views and good hiking trails. Be careful on the trails though. Some places are very close to the edge of Canyon. They have a tourist center that teaches you about the wildlife and logging industry as well as how the work corps helped to develop the area.

Spectacular views of the canyon. There is a one mile walking trail to the bottom on the Turkey path. We did not walk this yet. There is a visitors center which tells about the history of the place. An audio and video plays constantly. Very cool. Also a small gift shop with refrigerator magnets, hats, sweatshirts, and shirts. When we were there, there was a small vendor with ice cream and drinks. There was local honey for sale also. Worth the trip from wherever you are from. Very cool! Download an offline map, service is non existent here.

Went tent camping there for 4 night's in July with 2 adults, a 15yo and 5yo. All of us enjoyed it immensely and there are lots of sight seeing chances nearby as well.

The view was very nice in a beautiful fall day. We did the trail along the lookout points, not the Turkey trail down to the valley. A decent place to spend couple hours in the great canyon of PA, can't compare this to the Grand Canyon in Arizona.

Set up beautifully. We weren't able to hike because my boyfriend has bad knees. The paved walkway with railing made viewing the canyon from different angles possible. We actually went there 2 days. The first day was in the afternoon when the sun was bright & had begun to set. The second day we went earlier. I recommend going before 2P on a sunny day. I'd love to go back in the fall.
