It's a bit of a slope on most of the sites. More than 1 tent you may find your on a slope. Overall fantastic place to Camp. The bathrooms are clean the shower area is clean. There's water nearby and trash cans nearby.

I got to see deer, turkey, birds and other wild critters here. Nice and clean, great history.  I am interested in camping here.

Small, quiet park with camping,hiking trails, museum of area, and reproductions of indian homes and community center/smokehouse.  Peaceful.

Learn about the first people of this area. The park itself is beautiful. The interpretive center still has a highly Eurocentric voice that diminishes the stories of the Nisenan people. Only bad thing is the selling of sacred medicine in the gift shop which is considered taboo in many indigenous cultures.

Such a fun and interesting place to visit! The grounds are well maintained and all educational information clearly explained. Great combination of exercise and education! Loved it!
