Years ago their was a lot less people coming here but now they come by the thousands daily. At least they congregate to the more accessible areas thank God! I know all the hidden nook's and crannies around here so I'm able to go places where you hardly see a single person for hours on end. I will not ever disclose the beautiful places I've discovered here but I will encourage you to seek them out yourself. You will not be disappointed! In fact your soul will become enriched and the call of nature will beckon you to come back time and time again.

This is a wonderful location to hike, climb, or just take in the sights. There are several hikes available that take you in all directions. You can pay to park in the designated areas, or you can find a spot to park on the street. Just make sure to check for street signs, because there are a lot of places on the street that are illegal to park in.

Great area for recreation and photography, I spent most of my childhood at the river below the Foresthill bridge and also up at Clementine. Plenty of locations for hiking, swimming, fishing and more surrounding this area. Canyon fog in the fall months make for awesome views.

Excellent views, plenty of trails, and if you're into the movie xXx this is also where they launched the red Corvette off the bridge. Bottom line is that I love coming here to hike and drive is extremely scenic. It's a must do!

Super nice nature place to get out for a weekend afternoon. Dip your body in a crystal clear and cold waters of the American river.. bring cash for parking fees.
