I purchased a brand new 2017 Impreza and had a great experience up until the point my oil level light came on at 1500 miles. I brought it back to Irvine Subaru who inspected it and said it had an improperly installed fuse but they changed it as well as the oil and oil filter and all was good. Like clock work at 3000. The oil light came on again and I brought it back in. This time they told me it was an oil level switch that needed to be ordered and confirmed once again the oil was low. Then again the oil light came back on but I dismissed it since the switch hadn’t been replaced yet. Then after the switch was replaced around 4800 miles I set out again. Then 6300 oil light once again came on. Now it wasn’t until this point they even started a consumption report even though they told me each time previously it had been burning oil. Of course changing the oil and sending me on my way again. Then at 9000 miles, a new engine is finally being placed in the car. I wait two weeks and get the car back with the new engine and this time my alternators main connection is completely loose and shorting on itself causing my car to sputter and lots of service lights to come on. I brought it back and they cleaned it up and fixed the connection and sent me on my way again. By the time I reached my home about 20 miles away I heard a strange new noise that sounded like knocking or rattling in the passenger side of the engine bay. So I brought it back which has now led to 4 months of me in a courtesy car while they trouble shoot and collect data off my vehicle. All the while I had to work hard to get updated about it until the service manager personally took the responsibility to communicate with me on the issue. I still have not received the car and hope I can bring some light to this review when all is said and done.

The buying experience was great but unfortunately the dealer doesn't care about after purchase support. Our brand new WRX had a " check engine" light come on after 75 miles. We are told we need a new block - I don't particularly want a rebuilt engine in my new car...I would expect some TLC given the circumstances but can't even get the GM to return a phone call in spite of 6 messages....Take your money elsewhere. Irvine Subaru finally came through and responded....have to say in the end they treated us fairly. Would be a 5 start rating if the first or second phone call had been returned in a timely manner. Thanks to Sebastian and the team for taking care of the car and us in the end.

I love this place! The service is efficient, the staff pleasant and accommodating. I am able to make appointments easily and within days of when I call. Their pricing is very fair.

I would highly recommend going in and asking for Justin S. to help you find a car. Out of all the dealerships and sales reps I spoke with, he has been by far the best I've worked with. From initially coming up and meeting me until signing for the car, he made the experience entirely joyful. He surpasses what it means to provide customer experience and I am lucky to have worked for him. Subaru, I hope you are smart to realize what you have and I hope that those who read this be smart and go in and ask for him. Peter in finance was great as well. Overall solid and Justin well done.

I am waiting for the repair of my Subaru Outback transmission. It is still under warranty. I can judge better after I get my car back and start driving it.
